Thank heavens we don't have a donut shop near here. Well, I'm 174 lbs today, Dagmaraka, Thomas and any other buddies who aim to lose 15 lbs before Christmas. Go, the would-be-slender!

I'll be at the gym with Clive tonight.
He's trying to gain weight.
He'd need about ten pounds to get up to slender.

I'm still at a plateau.
I need to launch a big push to get to the next level.

I get highly motivated every morning when I step on the scale. It's the rest of the day that's the problem.

Get a good picture in your head of what you feel like as you step on the scale, before you eat anything, imagine yourself with that feeling.

Dagma, surely your upcoming nuptials are a spur to slenderness?

Right, so morning coffee and what else!?
I had 2 cups of tea, 2 Ryvita crackers with a banana, a handful of nuts and raisins, and a cup of coffee. Lunch, well, I went out with a friend, and had a glass of rosé and a fish soup of generous proportions with gruyere cheese and bread and butter Sad
Dinner, it's going to be lentil and veg curry and rice, a SMALL plate... well, it should be small.

Not enough protein, surely? Or are you better without? What blood group are you? Middle Europeans tend to be A or B I think.

Thanks, Joe. My problem is the realization that I have to do that every single day. Gone are the days of recoveries and splurges. My metabolism has changed and it's difficult to implement a new eating regimen and know that it's forever. Turning 50 was no big deal, being 50 kinda sucks.

No way, that can't be your correct age, JPB. I truly would never believe that.

199.4 today, bringing the total to a round 90 pounds. Only down another smidge, but I'm happy it was a smidge in the right direction.
