Anyone know how much she got paid so far by FOX and other media outlets/political groups. I am curious how much funding she receives from Move-on etc...

None, as far as I can tell. Her organization Gold Star Families for Peace gets plenty of donations from the same sources, I would guess.

Let me ask you, are you critical of, say, the Club for Growth or other PACs? Or just moveon?

I love how you guys just don't think that she's doing the things she's doing for reasons other than money...

So let's see, one could have used any of the following to describe her situation:
1. Terminally ill
2. Comatose
3. Severely disabled

Yet one chooses VEGATABLE and it's OK.
So I guess limp noodle, sack of potatoes, damp sock could have been equally used to describe the condition.

Yet, If I question motives, I get labeled RIGHTY??

You are correct. Your hyprocracy is laughable

Now it is ""hypocracy" LOL Want to try again? ROTFLMAO

She was in a PERSISTENT VEGETATIVE STATE, woiyo. Vegetable has long been used to describe people in such a state. Quit playing word games!

You are labelled a 'Rightie' because you consistently display Right-wing attitudes and judgement. You aren't labelled a Rightie because you attack this particular lady whose son was killed in Iraq; you attack her because you are a Rightie. Get it?

Lol, you guys are the greatest

I would like for you to go on record, Chrissee of denying that transcript is accurate; then

I would like for you to point out exactly what portion of the transcript is inaccurate; and finally

I would like for you to go on record explaining the basis for your belief that the transcript is inaccurate.

Note to those that don't understand "Chrissee-speak": The term "credible source" means some MSM, progressive movement or anti-war website, and nothing else. The anti-war crowd's "leader" calls Bush the world's biggest terrorist, and now they want to distance themselves from that statement? Why? It's exactly what they believe ... everyone knows that's what they believe. Why the reluctance to have their true beliefs known?

Chrissee: If you are going to be so juvenile to attack someone's prowess on the keyboard, at least you could replicate the error correctly. I think it's ten times funnier that you screwed up trying to type the word he typed. Laughing

It is fun to watch these guys self-destruct, all because a grieving mother had the courage to stand up to Bush.

What is really amazing, the whole idea of going to Crawford was almost an after-thought. No one in the movement even knew about it until the last minute.

What kills them is that they know that the overwhelming majority of people see Cindy for exactly what she is, a grieving mother trying to reconcile why her son's life was sacrificed for nothing.

What noble cause did Casey die for, President Bush?

The burden of proof is upon you to provide a transcript from a reliable source. How did you ever make it through law school?

When are you going to provide me with a link to the source of the "transcript."

That way, everone could judge for themselves. Of course, you don't want to post a link because it is from an extreme right-wing nutcase site.

Laughing No such burden exists.

I provided the link to the transcript, and all you can do is say it's hosted on a right-wing website? You think that is sufficient to discredit it? It looks valid to me. Now, I'm trying to pin you down to some specifics ... (a) do you think it's inaccurate, (b) what is inaccurate about it, and (c) why do you think it's inaccurate?

You won't even go so far as to say the transcript is inaccurate. All you can do is attack the website hosting it.

You don't want to answer my questions, do you?

Why are you playing games? Either post the frigging link or stop wasting my time. Of course, you have time to waste as you have no clients apparently. I do.

You are helpless, aren't you? Go back to the post and hover your cursor over the transcript's title.

I can't believe I had to explain that.

Hear ya there woiyo.

I'm not a big fan of PACs myself; soft money and corporate contributions are killing American politics, for sure.

It's hard to see how it can be stopped though given the right to assemble laws; hard to tell people they can't group up to try and influence politics.

The rules just have to get a lot stricter, in my opinion...

Is an pro-enviromentalist a "RIGHTY"?
Is a PRO-CHOICE a RIGHTY?

You have not read my posts so you can not know that I support her right to petition the govt with her grievence. I have my doubts based upon her statements and the facts as they are that this is based solely on a Mom's grieving of the loss of her son. My tendancy to believe it is politically motivated and also based somewhat on her ability to cash in.

Do you find the statement from her family the least bit curious or will you just discount is as not credible since is might sway you "LEFTY" position?

Whose playing word games now Cyclo? Please...stop the silly games and debate this objectively.

It obviously depends: what website is hosting the statement?

Alright, I'll drop the Rightie bit if you drop the Vegetable bit, lol!

I don't know how much she is 'cashing in' on what has happened. She seems pretty serious about protesting to me. I'm sure there is some political motivation; I mean, if you want the guy in office to get out, for whatever reason you might have, you either have to go about it militarily or politically, and Sheehan is no soldier. So it is all politics. But is that a bad thing, that a private citizen is politically motivated?

I don't find the statement from the rest of her family curious in the least. I'm sure there are many who disagree with what she is saying and doing, and just because someone is family doesn't mean they agree all the time. I don't happen to agree with them; I think protest and citizen involvement in our gov't is underrated and you are going to see a LOT more of it in the year or two to come, I guarantee.

Cheers to ya
