edit - no I don't eat tp.

It's eartatin' that the coffee I drink went up a dollar a can a few weeks back - Last week it went up another dollar. Another thing I hate - The store quit carrying a brand of toilet paper I always bought. Then they brought it back and it is now the weakest sorriest tp I ever had. Some things they raise the price of, if I can do without it, I simply cut it from my diet.

I just responded to a wedding invite by saying, "Sorry, maybe I'll make it to the next one." Was that wrong? I mean, it's only her third.

If you knew the individual stories you would know she had nothing to do with it. The last one was Covid. But that's always my first thought in such a case with strangers.

We've decided up here to just live with it. Here in Alberta, we no longer have to show our QR code (as of midnight) to get into public places and the rules for venues have changed. By the end of the month, depending on hospital admissions, they'll remove the mask mandate.

Wonder what the trucking convoys will do then.

Nearly got run over by a lady with a shopping cart. Walking back to the truck well behind my wife who insists on pushing the cart, my knees were not doing well. She came up behind me like Phantom 309 and circled around so tight I had to check my step to avoid a collision. Such is life in a metropolis like Tomball, where the New York speed step is catching on.

I had someone do something similar. In a supermarket a woman ran her cart into the back of both ankles. Instinctively I reacted by pushing her cart back and swearing. This was not my plan but it hurt. After her reply of sorry I said I’m sorry too.

My idea of a “smart tv” is when you take it out of the box and plug it in, it automatically blocks Fox News and everything with a Kardashian in it.
