Political organizations, blogs, and politicians request my money daily. **** on them. They don't accomplish anything. Why should I pay them?

I got up early because Rocky was up wandering around. Now he went back to bed.
Yesterday I got on the roof to clean off pine needles. I wish the roof had more slope so they could slide off. I don't get within six feet of the edge. Never know when a clumsy move could make me trip on myself. I flip the rake over and push the piles off by poking them with it. Soon the bald cedar will dump all its leaves. Then I will be back up there.

@edgarblythe,
I have been using a really powerful leaf blower. It saves me cleaning gutters and gets the needles and leaves off within 50 feet. It’s battery-powered so no cord to get tangled or trip over. It’s not cheap but the battery technology has improved immmensely. Mine is an EGOPower+

@Ragman,
I have a battery blower but it's the weaker model. I just use it when cleaning off the porch or around the mail platform.

@edgarblythe,
When I got this Ego model it made all of the difference. I was skeptical until. trying it out. I got a 3.0 amp-hour battery and it takes a long enough charge to do front driveway, gutters and my back deck. It not cheap, though. I bought another one for our south FL house, as well. It’s been 2 years and they’re going strong.

@Ragman,
I won't spend the money for something I just do about four times a year. I need the physical exercise anyway. Smile

@edgarblythe,
Understand that. In my upstate NY location, it’s weekly or more depending on the season. In FL, it’s not too often -maybe monthly.
We’ve got hedge trimmer too and that has me hopping around - probably weekly.

No matter how you do it, stay safe.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks! We are flying JetBlue to Florida for the cold season which apparently started a couple days ago up here. They’re predicting low 40s temperatures overnight tonight we’re leaving just in time. Though, we won’t see.much foliage before we go by Tuesday.

@edgarblythe,
We’re them pretty regularly in our complex as they live there in our streams and ponds in our complex. They signed an agreement not to eat us or our dog. They’re well intergatored in our community.

Looking to name a lady bounty hunter from the 1870s USA. She's in her mid to late twenties, has a bit of a twisted side to her face and one eye does not look straight. She has killed suspects with a shotgun three or four times.

The park this morning. The squirrels are repopulating and we fed our first blue jay of the season.

@edgarblythe,
What sort of name do you want?

Are we talking natural, place or descriptor?

Or all three?

Like Yodelling Bermondsey Nancy.

That's not a serious suggestion BTW.

@izzythepush,
She usually brings her man in after administering a shotgun blast at close range. She's in her twenties. She might be plain in a handsome way but for a slight twist to her face on the same side where she has one eye slightly off-center.

Right now I'm using Daisy Plumtree, but it's a name I've used elsewhere in a lyric, so need something else.

@edgarblythe,
Shotgun could be part of the name.

Other alternatives, hatchet, twisted, sideways, backdrop.

@izzythepush,
I originally intended to call her Shotgun something, but that's what everyone does.
