I'll just entertain myself

No, it wasn't, but maybe it'll just be a short time-out.

I wish Trump gets what's been coming to him for a long. long time. Really gets it. I'd like to see him dead broke, beaten down, sued to the nines, vilified and ostracized by everyone he knows, starving, dejected, homeless, miserable, deserted by his family, and suicidal. Did I cover everything?

I've never seen a more immoral, self-congratulating, self-promoting, narcissistic, blind, uncaring, cheating, lying, thieving, under-handed criminal.

That about covers it, but you know he has his own special group that if it hasn't anything else, it has total loyalty to trump.

I've said all I can about Trump. It's up to a warped justice system to figure out what to do with him now. I mostly have shut down about him because he thrives on every publicity he gets, whether laudatory or hate-filled. He gets more free publicity than anybody I ever knew anything about. Not from me.

I hope he loses that, too

Lately, there is lots of fuss over George Harrison's album All Things Must Pass. I bought it the same day it appeared in the local record store. But I have never heard the album. Brought it home. Opened it up. Then, my second to youngest brother knocked on the door. He visited for a short time then left. A little later I prepared to play the new records. All of the discs - I think 3 - were gone. I heard the singles Harrison released, on the radio. A few years later the same brother returned. As I ushered him into the house, he slipped a record into my hand. It was one of my records from All Things Must Pass. He went on in and made himself at home and visited and soon he left. The record looked as though it had been left in a gravel driveway to get run over a number of times.

This reminiscence has me thinking of my record collection and things it has suffered from. When in Brookly I brought home North by Joan Baez, after one playing my neighbor bought it. She brought it back looking like a twin of my All Things Must Pass record. I had a Don Gibson album that my leading petty officer took home with him. He had warned me he was going to have it. Various similar losses. My first wife loaned half of my records to someone she barely knew and that was the last of them. Oh, well. I have Youtube to listen to.

I'm in between stories to write. Just posting on A2K like this until time to get back to work.

Made some errors but I think it can be understood.

Minutes ago I saw this headline. I just don't understand why I should care who gets plugged in with whom. It's not my business and I simply don't care. All species are capable of mixing it up because it's natural to go with your own curiosity and inclinations. Don't force or hurt anybody, physically or mentally and you're good with me. But don't bore me by telling me about it.

In times past Rocky lay on the porch and howled the whole time the ice cream man's maddening jingle could be heard. I only noticed tonight that it's another job claimed by the pandemic.

Being around the elderly for twenty-three years as an apartment maintenance man gave me opportunities to see the good they did for themselves and also the mistakes. One thing that continually made me sad was to observe how seldom they went out into the sun. I vowed it wouldn't happen with me. Every day I walk to the little store just out of the neighborhood and get my fifteen or twenty minutes of sun.

Speaking of the elderly (with which I have volunteered for over 25 years), when I was a struggling single-parent student at college, I had rented an apartment. The 'manager' was a European lady with whom I got along quite well. Then my sister and I decided to rent a house together. Of course I cleaned the apartment. But when it came time to give this financially struggling single-parent student her deposit back, she refused to give it because I hadn't cleaned my second-storey windows on the outside. I could really not afford to lose that damage deposit. So I had no recourse but to get even.

So... guess how I did that. heh heh heh
