JLLLLLLLLLL......now, a word to the wise. If you EVER find a woman that has the spirit to speak her mind, in such an eloquent fashion as Bella, you will be a lucky man indeed. With such a woman, life will NEVER be dull, and that person would have enough depth to their character, to not dump you for a rich guy.
There are different levels of "depth" to all human beings, and I would suggest that you are casting your net towards the shallow end, with damaging results.
Money plays a very minor part in life's great tapestry. You can have as much, or as little in the bank with the right partner, it will be irrelevant, as she will love you for who you are, not what you've got.
But the "who you are" at the moment needs a bit of honing. If you enter ANY relationship with the suspicion and cynicism that you have displayed here, you wont last more than a couple of dates.
Make a great effort to treat the future women in your life with the utmost respect and consideration, and do your utmost to have some fun whilst you are together. Then, if the relationship doesnt work out, at least you can say that you gave it your best shot.

Sorry everyone - I'm just going through a rough patch these days. I vetoed the kids coming back to Sandland for the summer, which means that my missus had to go back to the Homestead in Arizona to give the kids (22, 20, 17) someplace to stay instead. The two eldest are off at parts unknown partying for the summer, but the 17 year old is at home and has a summer job at McDonalds. Now with school resuming in six weeks or so, the missus is starting to sing a different tune about coming back (all the kids want to change schools - they don't know what they want to do - they're depressed etc ad nauseum). And the idea of being on bachelor status here at helljob for the next 1-2 years is not near and dear to my heart.
If the kids (especially the two eldest) were actually taking advantage of the opportunities we're working to give them, that would be one thing. Working here so they can party is entirely different. And it sure seems the missus is grasping at any excuse to stay in the States.
Jim, hugs all around for you. That is tough place to be. Just know we are all here for you. What can we do?

By the way, this "squabble" as you call it was started by you so if you can't finish what you started by all means, leave. You can't make any of us agree with your distored opinions so you give up. Must be nice to leave your convictions behind you so easily. I'm an engineer working for their state oil company. It was great for the first few years, then started going downhill. Being here without the family isn't a whole lot of fun. But by all accounts, the wife and kids back home are having a good 'ol time.
