Squinney, it is a well-known fact that the you and the Bear are one of the most respected and beloved couples on this site and it quite understandable that when the Bear is wounded there will be a collective wringing of hands and concerned hushes, but, and I believe I speak for the majority here, is it really necessary that we hear the graphic details of Bear's bowel movements?

Now I have this friggin' image implanted firmly in my mind. I can't shake it and I believe, like a hatching brood of some sort of lethal worm being released, the inside of my head is being devoured.

I must calm down and think pleasant thoughts.

It is my only chance.

Gus
Gus, do you think putting this waterbuffalo in the Bear's room would scare the poop out of him and get him home to Squinney earlier?

Squinney, did you know there is a song titled, "I Shaved My Legs For This?" Had to laugh when I saw that title. Shaving your legs, pampering, always helps in any situation.

Aroma therapy is helpful in inducing sound sleep. For you, pampering and sleep are vital. Take good care of yourself, dear Squinney.

Re the bowel movement stuff, this is one of the funnier posts I've read in a while. Thanks!

And, squinney, hugs and support, man, you're amazing! Very Happy

The weekend is over.

Tomorrow the doctors will be showing up for a work week.

Maybe Monday? Maybe Wednesday? Sometime this week you'll have all your beloved problems under one roof.

Hold your dominion, Squinney.

First I read in a animal thread about the dog who couldn't relieve herself because a possible bear in the area. Now, I read about the bear who can't relieve himself. Hopefully, the 2nd one will have as happy an ending as the first one. Fascinating stuff :-)

I waltz in now after being away from a computer monitor for six days (and four hours and thirteen minutes) and see you have all been through the wringer, with Bear and Squinney and Cubs being most wrung out, though having company in that.

Damn.

Hugs all around.
And I think the folks who added their own perspectives re being in a similar place were helpful, or... at least their points helped me as a catching-up reader-hoper

I admire Squinney in the first place and even more now. But enough of this.
Bear needs to heal, and Squinney needs rest and pampering, and we need them both back in form..

You've been amazing through all of this Squinney. And it is true. We women stay as strong as steel for as long as we need to and then it's our turn to let it all out.

I completely understand how you feel being so exhausted and so sensitive to everything. It's like running on autopilot and just going through the motions. It really will get better, sweet lady and as Noddy suggests, some good aromatherapy along with a long soak in a warm tub will do wonders to keep you going till the Big Bear gets home.

Aren't kids the greatest source of comfort in times like these? Your daughters sweet words of encouragement have got to mean so much and it is so cool to see your son keeping his great sense of humor to help keep a smile on your face as well.

I'm thinking of you all every day and sending lots of healing and loving thoughts your way. Smile

I'm glad to hear Bear continues to improve.

Squinney, I hope you are able to get some help when Bear comes home. You need some R&R too.
