Sundown you better take care if I find you've been creeping down my backstair's,
Sometimes I think it's a sin that I keep feel I'm winning when I'm losing again.

squinney hosted a great karaoke show!

at bpb/bvt's show, the highlight was a 400 pound guy singing the love song from "titanic".

With enough bourbon in me, I could probably be persuaded to sing Moondance...

How did it go, BPB? And how are you feeling today?

I had to quit an hour early. Honestly, I was in a shitload of pain by 1am. The owners were very understanding and told me to pack up. I did it though, and earned, and I feel okay today, a little more tired than lately, but outside of a doctors appointment I'm resting today so I guess I'll be all right.

Good. I'm glad you're seeing the doctor today. Just in case you overdid it.

I REALLY don't like hearing that you're in pain, you know. Sad

you better behave, Bear.......if you don't you know what will happen.

I've been really busy. My daughter is moving to New York and we were looking for apartments all last week. Ugg was it hot! Now Bernie and I have to fly to Oregon to help her pack up and move. I'll be back next week and I'll be checking in. If I hear you've been not taking care of yourself.........well, you'll see.

Yesterday I had a really good day...no particular digetive pain or muscle pain...it felt so good to have a reasonably pain free day.

squinney and I went to the mall to walk around 6:00 (too hot to walk outdoors it was still 100 plus degrees at that time) and towards the end of the walk my back started to hurt a ittle so I took a precautionary muscle relaxer. No serious back pain, so a good day right?

Well, shortly after arriving home a headache that was close to a full blown migraine crashed into me like a f**king freight train and I was basically up all night. It still hurts a little.

So today, I feel weak, whiny, and pissed off.

:: scratches bear behind the ears::

the fact that you can feel pain in certain areas and not just ALL OVER says alot about how well you are healing.
You are able to walk, talk , and **** on yer own..
;-) heheh
Slowly but surely, you will back to your old self.

and everyone shall resume hiding thier daughters from ya..Laughing

Howsabout coming home before the pain starts today?

Take care of yourself and the cubs - and sign Squinney up for a nice pedicure.

Me too...and it's ok to feel whiney. This is the place to whine--you know we'll tell you when to knock it off when it gets too much.

There is such a feeling of relief that you are doing well. Even though there is still quite a lot of healing to do, you are so strong and, well, stubborn, that you'll be fine in no time.

Hey Bear!

One thing I learned really fast many years ago because of my disabilities: When going for a walk (for any reason and any place) always measure your mobility ability to include making your way back home or to your car. Many times I would reach my pain limit and have nothing left for the return trip. Big mistake! Always plan for the round trip, not just one way.
