NoNe, I think you're missing my point. I have no more love for Bush than you. My point, however, was that, in a historical sense, you shouldn't be too eager to erase anyone at all, lest you open a Pandora's box, the results of which you can't possibly foresee.

well, u guys are getting too deep, seriously.
The subj is "Whom would u erase from the history if u had a magic stick" and that's the question I read and wrote the answer. Why, Is it a right or a wrong decision, is it ok or not ok...those are other questions, and honestly OFFTOPPIC.
I actually started this crap, when somebody to my ordinary answer responded(Hell knows who asked his opinion in that term), saying Bush will stay. LOL.

Liberals are so sheltered from the real world that they have this picture in there heads of how everything should be. They want to tax every hard working person to spend it into their worthless useless programs which will never work. They value the lazy and criminals over people who actually contribute. They think they stand up for the common person, and if they had it their way they would change every country into a communist mess. I could go on further, if only the amount of stupidity that liberals contain hadn't hurt my brain.

And this has what, exactly, to do with the subject at hand, as started by BumbleBeeBoogie? Except for NoNe's listing Bush as one of his pet enemies (which falls well within the parameters of the theme of the thread), I don't see anyone making a general attack on neocons. So, are you intending to hijack the thread for your own partisan purposes? I'm not even going to say whether I agree or disagree with you, because it has nothing to do with the subject of the thread.

(But, please do learn the difference between 'there' and 'their.' I know, those homophones can be hell.)

i wonder if said rapper was spending his spare time pulling people off the rooftops in NO. or donating his millions to the victims...

Kayne West, I heard his speach.
I disagree that goverment was hella slow becuase majority of New Orlean populations were black americans. It was not the choice, it is the weakness. there is a biiiig difference))))

oh, i agree NoNe, but what i was wondering was if he was actually DOING anything about the situation or just bitching that no one else was because they were poor, black, etc. i guess my point was, does he really care about the victims down there (is he helping in some way?) or just pontificating so he could get airtime and sound like he was "representin"...

I heard he donated some money(not sure about the ammount) and participating in Fund raising campaign like other celebrities, which does not stop him from hating bush and his administration.
Yeah, pretty sad that an ordinary thread turned into the discussion of Bush and Katrina. Sad

See? That's my point. Eliminate Bush and who would we Bushwhackers whack? It's important to have people like that around. For the right wing, if you eliminate Clinton or Ted Kennedy, who you gonna blame for Huricane Katrina?

Just out of curiosity, please show us where ANYONE has blamed either Clinton or Kennedy for the hurricane.

Liberals should be erased
If conservatives are the voice of promoting morality in America then liberals are the voice of breaking down moral character in America.
There can be no mistake - liberals mean to promote their version of America as conservatives and in the end, that version favors control. The control is the problem. Liberals have good ideals about human thinking. They do encourage thought on some levels but whatever good that does is erased by the propaganda antics of indoctrinating young minds. Liberals are smart enough to realize that youth is the answer. They succeed here where conservatives fail. Most youths in America have liberal ideals because they are taught by liberals in the union run public education system. It is no surprise then when most Americans grow to have liberal ideals.

The youth is taught to love everyone and everything except that which threatens liberalism and they do. Tolerance is a major issue, one which liberalism promotes yet they themselves have little tolerance of people with opposing view points.

I wouldn't take a chance o rewriting history. Who know's what disaster would be caused by a missing element....In your heart of hearts, don't yo know I'm right?...Remember..."For every action there is another one, opposite one direction and equal in force.

hey ebrown, i agree with you. I read The Real Lincoln, quite an eye opener. Of course you have to look at both sides of the issue. But ask yourself this, naysayers, did the Yankees go to war to free Blacks from slavery? Don't think so. It had more to do with ripping off the wealth in the south. Lincoln himself was quoted as saying (paraphrase) that he didn't care if the Negroes were emancipated -'if freeing the slaves would keep the union or keeping the slaves would save the union....he would do whatever to save the union..." It was all about centralizing the government. And they did, and hasn't it just been swell? The south was right.....Lincoln should have been erased.

remembering what jean jaques rousseau said, i would have to say i would get rid of that "first man, who, having fenced off a piece of land, thought of saying "this is mine", and found people simple enough to believe him". whoever came up with the concept of ownership of land was a gosh dang fool.
