No, but that is a good idea.

It is going to cut into to recess, but knock yourself out.

I almost forgot to ask.

Has Mexico paid for Donald Trump's border wall yet?

It is not worth taxpayers money to secure our border? I have no problem with it. Destroy America over money everyone knows will be saved a thousands of times over by not supporting illegals. 113 billion a year will be saved.

Do not forget a few senators want El Chapo to pay for the wall.

@coldjoint,
Is that yes Mexico has paid for Donald Trump's border wall?

or No, Mexico has not paid for Donald Trump's border wall?

Has Mueller find collusion in two years? Give Trump two years to get the money. And it means no, not yet.

Why don't you use your old handle?

@coldjoint,
If you wish to give Trump two more years to force Mexico to write a check to pay for his border wall, that's your right.
In the mean time, the Donald Trump government shutdown is still in effect because he wasn't able to force Mexico to pay for his wall.

@coldjoint,
That is exactly what I said.

This is Trump's border wall.

This is also Trump's government shutdown.

Until it's built, it's just in Trump's head.

There is nothing inside of Trump's head except for cob-webs and a lot of hollow empty space between his ears.

Why don't you want to stop illegals that cost American lives? Experts on the border say they need it. I would not be surprised if they dream about it.

@coldjoint,
What % of undocumented immigrants would the wall stop?

What does it matter? Enough to save one life work for you? I would say about 90% when it is completed.

I accept that I can't control what anyone posts... even though this thread was created for a very specific purpose.

But why the hell are people having this ridiculous argument? Coldjoint is being silly, and people keep responding. Anyone of you could just stop. This argument is inane. You don't need to respond to absurd arguments, and this thread is supposed to be about political strategy.

@maporsche,
I think that's the most important question. Then somebody could consult their tea leaves and produce a cost/benefit analysis. I'm surely against illegal immigration, but if it stopped less than say, 10%, it just isn't doable.

That's just silly.

In 2017, 670k people overstayed their visas and 304k where apprehended at the border (many at existing, monitored, border crossings).

So even if the wall were impenetrable, you'd only catch 1/3 of undocumented immigrants.

Israel's wall stops well over 90%. Why wouldn't ours? A good reason please not more bullshit about visas.

@coldjoint,
Once you explain to me how a wrecking ball may be 90% effective at tearing down a building but is not the right tool for taking down an interior wall.

It's not off topic, trust me.

You are answering with a question. Are you calling the border wall an interior wall? Again, why is Israel's wall so effective?
