I am assuming that you are saying a woman is not equal to a man when it comes to the cooking - cleaning - children, etc. That she is to do all of those things because she is the wife. That the wife is more of a woman and the man will love her more because she does all of these things.
Prior to that sentence you seemed to be implying that a woman can hold the same job a man does and this is the only place that equality is allowed. (OUTSIDE the home)
SO - putting the two together - you are in essence saying that it's ok for a woman to go out and work. Then come home and be a slave to her family while the husband does nothing. YET- the old fashioned way of values were such that the woman did not go out and work. Instead the husband took care of providing the money to run the house and the woman took care of things inside the home.
You can't have both, darlin. If you want the old traditional values - then you should include em' all. Not just some of em'. Not that I agree with your thinking at all.
In todays world - most of the time it takes two to pay the bills. And I'll be dammed if I will be the kind of woman that goes out and works a full time job and comes home while my mate is sitting on his ass ordering me around. Expecting me to feed him - grab his beers out of the frig - clean the house - bathe the children and help them with homework - put them to bed - then be a sex machine when his rested body and my tired body crawl beneath the sheets.
That's equality? Oh wait - that's right. You don't believe in equality inside the home. Just outside.
PS- any man that would expect that out of me can kiss my ass.
