Dinna fret, we'll call ya when the paddles are really needed.

The lockers in this building are kept in a maze that would confuse a minotaur. And our locker was buried to the rafters with stuff. I was down there for what seemed like weeks...By the way, I'm going to be having a spring contents sale in the next couple of weeks. I'll give ehBeth and the Prince first dibs at all of the leather and vinyl objects... Though I do understand that when at a loss for a paddle, a flat ceramic dish substitutes nicely. I've got plenty of those for the sale too! First come first whacked, er, served... Razz

have ya got CBC Radio One on the radio, Buttercup? Your fella's loving it, I'm sure.

http://www.cbc.ca/50tracks/

I've been thinking of some of the music he recommended to friends here, as I've been listening.

Five-hour 50 Tracks Countdown
Saturday March 26 at 1:00 p.m. (1:30 NT) on CBC Radio One and
7:00 p.m. (8:00 AT, 8:30 NT) on CBC Radio Two

50 Tracks with Jian Ghomeshi
One country...50 songs...a great all-Canadian list!

The final list will be posted at 6 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on Saturday March 26.

All winter long Jian Ghomeshi has been on a quest to come up with a great list of the 50 essential Canadian popular songs. For the last 10 weeks, Jian, the panellists and the audience have built the list 5 songs at a time. Thousands of calls and letters poured in each week. It's been an amazing debate. It's been about getting involved and fighting for your favourites in a spirit of fun and friendly competition. Canadians love their music and nothing divides or unites a country than a debate about essential songs.

You put the list in order with your votes. Now it's time to count down the 50 tracks.

and now it's Trooper

Found out on Friday that a colleague lives in Buttercup's building.
Small world.
We were talking about where to get good hamburgers in Tranna, and the next thing ya know it was "west tower? really? that's where my friend Buttercup lives with wee Cav. Do you know wee Cav?"

I can't seem to get The Prince and me out of Baton Rouge and back to the car and then back to the hotel and then out to the airport. I didn't want him to leave. He's just too lovely - and such a grand giggler.

there are still stories left

the washroom
the stores
goodbye Mitchell
the fella in the check-out line when The Prince bought me thongs checking out The Prince
crossing 15 lanes of traffic

I miss ya, Princie.

Its a nice hotel. The staff are friendly, but they are a bit slow. I guess I shud learn to take things a bit easy atleast during the holidays! Plenty
of booze and food - the food is great, the booze so so, I can teach these
guyz how to make cocktails properly. Its hot a bit windy and gets a bit
chilly in the evenings.

One of the waiters, who lights the traditional arabian cigarettes, called
sheesha ...

they're freakin' lighting his cigarettes Shocked

ehBeth's earlier post, "Saturday morning, The Prince went outside his hotel and asked a cabbie to take him to the Eaton Centre. The cabbie pointed out it was just a couple of blocks away. The Prince told the cabbie he understood, but still wanted a lift. The cabbie got out of the cab - and showed The Prince where the Eaton Centre was. The Prince walked to the Eaton Centre." The prince is on an expense account, so taking a cab for two blocks is "worth it." LOL When we had our first London Gathering two years ago, the prince recommended a restaurant that must've been about 100km from the ye olde Cheshire Cheese; I swear it took us a good half hour to get there in cabs. Wink
