Just home from taking The Prince to the airport.
I would have kidnapped him for permanent Tranna residency if I thought I could have got away with it.
It's been an amazing, emotional, fun, crazy, good weekend.

After much toing and froing, The Prince had decided that he'd be leaving Buffalo and coming to Tranna on Saturday morning. Thursday night he'd more than had enough of Buffalo, and when I got home from work on Friday there was a "guess who's in Toronto" email waiting for me.
After taking care of the dogs, and brushing/scraping the heap of snow/ice of off Algernon (my lil car), I set off to meet The Prince.
Went to the hotel, drove into the porte-cochere, and told the lovely lovely doorman that I was waiting for a handsome man in a black cashmere coat. He smiled, and invited me to wait inside if I'd like. Almost immediately, a handsome man in a black cashmere coat came out of the hotel, I jumped out of my car and hugging commenced. Smiling and hugging.

We drove north up University Avenue, past
Osgoode Hall... click, through
Chinatown Two ... click, through
U of Tranna campus ... click, and parked in a pile of snow in
The Annex neighbourhood ... click. We wandered through
this fun neighbourhood ... click which gets livelier as the evening progresses, ending up at the corner of
... click, this fun place. Along the way, we stopped at what is
one of the most dangerous spots in Toronto ... click
We wandered back along Bloor til we got to
Zizi Trattoria ... click, where we sat at the bar for a bit til a table was ready. Then we settled in to eat, drink, talk and laugh, and drink and talk and laugh for several lovely hours.
After dropping The Prince back at the hotel for his un-needed beauty sleep, I went home to the dogs and an effort to try and get some desperately needed beauty sleep.
Next ... phone calls, and a day with The Prince (much loved by small dogs and lucky Toronto A2K'rs)
