Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) is blasting her fellow Democrats, accusing the party of ignoring working-class Americans in favor of the wealthy.

In an interview published Monday with The Guardian, Warren slammed former President Barack Obama for being out of touch with average voters.

"President Obama, like many others in both parties, talk about a set of big national statistics that look shiny and great but increasingly have giant blind spots," Warren said.

Obama, like the whole D crew, became corporately-owned and mercenary in their actions.

@Lash,
The one dog actually and currently eating your kids up is the NRA, with the help of its Republican (mainly) enablers and affiliates. Kill that dog and save your children.

Or you can keep hating Hillary instead, because, you know, her hairdo is wrong or something, while grinning broadly as Trump destroys Medicare and replaces food stamps with canned food, and as the NRA kills your children for money. Because you care soooo much for the poor and the downtrodden, right?

The NRA is not harming anyone. They are protecting us.

@Olivier5,
This is one of the lamest, most transparent dodges from you.

Can’t speak to the issue?

@Lash,
People are counting on hatred of Trump to carry the day for them, little realizing getting rid of Trump is only a beginning, not an end. Going back to pre Trump politics is the sure way to ensure another Trump.

@edgarblythe,
My sentiment, too. The status quo landed us Trump. If the system isn’t fundamentally changed, we’ll keep returning to it like a sick dog to his vomit.

I’m unwilling to be a part of that.

This is not only Olivier problem, Lash, it is a major problem for most Americans.

@Lash,
It is about the issue. You've bet on the wrong dog, the dog who wants more mass murders and the dismantling of social safety nets so that the 1percenters will get richer. And that's what you will get for 8 long years.

@Olivier5,
I think you sprung a cog.

I bet on Bernie Sanders. Our views are quite similar. He woke up half the country; the rest are slow-learners, but change is coming... Republican Lite is on notice.

I’m proud of the evolution.

@Lash,
You let Bernie down like a used condom as soon as the primaries were over. He called all his supporters to vote for Hillary to prevent the absolute catastrophy that Trump is for your country and citizens. But you couldn't care less about him or your country then... The only thing that mattered to you was your hatred of Hillary, a hatred made in Russia.

You bet on the wrongest possible dog, based on the wrongest of emotions: baseless hatred. The dark side owns you now.

Just WOW, Olivier. You support the absolutely, totally impossible USGOCT, one that doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of being true, one for which there is zero evidence and myriad impossibilities within that same lame conspiracy theory that also make it not possible and you think Lash has gone to the dark side.

What utter drivel!

Full disclosure, I am a democrat. I vote democrat. I will continue to vote democrat. Elizabeth Warren is my favorite democrat nationally. I believe she would make an excellent candidate for the 2020 presidential race. I also believe that she would make an excellent President of the United States. I find that Elizabeth Warren fights for democrat causes better than any other national democrat.

Here's a New Yorker that left the Democratic Party or the Repug Party or the Libertarian Party or the Communist Party or the Socialist Party, and life, not of his own free will but from one of the bombs that his government put in one of the twin towers.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l8oXH9TdDuc

I thought that Americans and other westerners like Canadians, UKers, ... felt some compassion for the "victims" of 9/11 and their families.

I know that y'all care not a bit about the millions of dark skinned people who have died because of USA lies, but hey, this is one of your own.

Don't you see what y'all are protecting with your blindness and your silence?

@Real Music,
She had me pretty convinced that she was a truth-telling progressive for a long time. I respect her for breaking rank pretty often and telling it like it is.

I took a powder on her when she wouldn’t back Bernie’s presidential campaign.

Haven’t really felt comfortable embracing her after that, but I have respected her immensely in the past. I thought a woman like her would’ve made an exceptional first woman pres. Better her than any other woman in politics that I can think of currently.

Still broiling over her decision in 2016. Her endorsement might have put him over.

Lame. Emotional.

I bet on the country I want to live in—and rejected taking part in the sewer it’s become.

@camlok,
Voting the truth down doesn't stop the truth from being the truth.

Do those who voted down the citizen of New York being blown out a twin tower window by the 'bombs and explosions described by George W Bush, that concussed the firemen and first responders', not care at all about this innocent man?

Although Elizabeth Warren did not endorse your preferred candidate, she has never stop fighting for the democrat and progressive causes.

@Real Music,
Think about what might have happened if she’d endorsed Bernie. Still, the DNC would probably done as they did, and cheated to the win, and probably primaried and isolated Warren.

@Lash,
No one can really know what would have happened if she had endorsed Bernie. All anyone can do is speculate. I do believe she endorsed Hillary because she believed Hillary had a better chance than Bernie of winning the general election. Well, Hillary ultimately lost the general election. No one can ever really know if Bernie would have won or lost the general election.

You chastise others for their blindness, Lash, and rightly so. Are you not afflicted by the same thing?
