I'm not the "left." One doesn't need to be on the left to disagree with Bush's policies and actions. I also disagree much with the democrats of today, so what's your point?

Show me a rightee that writes a unbiased report on this quagmire in Iraq, and I'll post that one too!

Have you been there?
Have you seen firsthand whats happening?
Have you talked to returning soldiers?

How can you say you are unbiased if you refuse to find out the whole story, and report exactly what you hear and see, instead of what you want to report?

Quote:
The DRUDGE REPORT has learned from a top GOP operative that the Republican National Committee will provide state parties with a web video prior to release tomorrow afternoon that shows a white flag waving over images of Democrat leaders making anti-war remarks. The ad is in response to the controversial comments Democratic Party Chairman Howard Dean and 2004 Democratic Presidential nominee John Kerry made earlier in the week.

A Democratic strategist who had the web ad described to her said, "This is way over the top but we have no one to blame but Dean, Kerry and others who continue to pander to the anti-war activists within our party."

The web video advances the Republican contention that the Democrats only have a "retreat and defeat" message on the war in Iraq. The video highlights the effect Democrats can have on the morale of U.S. soldiers.

One Republican strategist familiar with the ad said, "The Democrats, especially Howard Dean have a way of trying to turn the tables and say ?'that's not what I meant' - its just those ?'evil Republicans' This video will make them crazy - it reinforces what they really believe with what they actually said - and that is devastating for the Democratic Party."

December 8, 2005 -- Howard Dean's stance on the Iraq war is "flat out dead wrong" ?- that was the message Attorney General Eliot Spitzer had last night for the Democratic Party chairman who has said that the war in Iraq is "not winnable."

At a fund-raiser in Midtown ?- where the Democratic gubernatorial hopeful raised a whopping $5 million for his campaign coffers ?- Spitzer was asked what he thought of the national party boss' gloomy prediction.

"He's flat out dead wrong," Spitzer said. "Of course we can win that war."

A crowd of 1,500 people paid $1,000 a plate to meet and greet Spitzer in the main ballroom of the Sheraton New York in Midtown.

This is not the first time Spitzer has publicly distanced himself from Dean.

Two years ago, when the former Vermont governor's failed bid for the presidency was in full swing, Spitzer said their was no way Dean would make it to the White House.

The attorney general said Dean's anti-war stance made him an unlikely candidate to win the party's nomination.

A new poll in Aghanistan finds 87% of Afghans saying the US-led overthrow of the Taliban was a good thing and 9% a bad thing, not to mention 77% saying Afghanistan is heading a good direction and 6% in a bad one.

Personally, I think the findings in Iraq are about the same (or could be if the MSM would emphasize the positive accomplishments and stop tearing us down day after day).

This is not 1968. It's 2005. Remember what your shrinks told you - live in the now.

We won the war in Iraq. A long time ago. The terrorists are making the reconstruction long and tedious, but we'll prevail in that, too.

Bush is a man of courage. I predict that twenty years from now there will be statues of him all over Iraq commemorating this and they'll be maintained well into the next century.

"Bush is a man of courage."

He went AWOL when he was supposed to be on duty in the national guards.

What do you base this on? Do you have first-hand knowledge that the rest of us don't?

If the war in Iraq was won, why are we still getting our soldiers killed?

I was standing in line to buy coffee a few days ago when an elderly woman turned to me and said, "You know, I really like Starbucks coffee, but my husband won't let me buy it anymore."

I said, "Oh, really. Why not?"

She said, "Because they don't support our troops".

That depends upon who "the rest of us" is. I have first hand knowledge from those serving, yes.

"We" aren't getting our soldiers killed. Try being on the side of America once in a while, c.i.
