@ossobuco,
Smile??? Hell I've been grinning ever since I learned BillRM is threatening to turn me into the Feds for supposedly threatening him. As I understand it, he thinks I can turn him into the idiot round-up that only I and my 'fed-buddies' know about.

@ehBeth,
grins, me too.

Also, Diane and I had quite the fun day yesterday. First of all, we stopped off at goodwill for donating and foraging in the books and miscellaneous stuff and clothing sections. I got a book I look forward to by Wallace Stegner, two great red bowls, and best of all, a mug with wonderful Moose depicted on it. Moose make me smile a lot. All that for $4.97.

Except - mine says Maine, not Vermont

Then we went to Nicky V's, which is still run by the same people, but has a new name, something something brewing company. Still great food though, and a new excellent waiter. I had the unbeatable Fugi salad, and she had the truly delicious Orvieto pasta; a mix of serious talk and a lot of laughing.

I've been reading up a little, getting prepared for baseball season. Am sick sick sick of politics (oh, and war) and often find sports an antidote, including today. Am smiling about a young pitcher from Culiacan (Mexico).

@tsarstepan,
I watched John Oliver last night and he had me rolling on the floor. I especially like his remarks about how sensitive Drumpf is regarding his hands and fingers. John Oliver has a wicked sense of humor.

Well I'm smiling today because I saw Carl Bernstein taking reporters to task for the lack of in depth reporting on the candidates. He has remarked that he believes that Trump has an authoritarian side that would make him unsuitable to be President and I think that's true. I can't see him as a man of the people, I think he divides our citizens into winners and losers. Hopefully somebody will be embarrassed into doing honest complete reporting.

I posted this earlier on a different thread, mistakenly thinking it was this one. It's very good, and it's not what you think. You need to watch it through, you'll know when the twist comes.

@ossobuco,
Me too, osso. Still smiling. I feel more relaxed just knowing that they're coming. Joanie told the woman at the social services agency that she can't tell the dogs yet. She's afraid they'll go nuts.

Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
