Damn you Frank!

Su Ami's sales on Etsy just shot through the roof.

Lost the computer this morning in the wonderland of No for a few hours.. something to do with bluetooth and my not being able to click the 'notice' away (I don't have bluetooth, what was that doing there), followed by Safari committing hara kiri. Baby iMac is fragile since she is so damned old (2006). I usually can nurse matters back to normal by mac instinct, but this time things looked cooked.
Long story short, I fixed it but there was a lot of doubt in the meantime.

So, a smile. Not a big one. More like a mona lisa smile.

I was in a commercial for the local garbage company. When the photographer sent me a link, I looked at it and cracked up.

My first reaction was that I really needed elocution lessons. I never realized just how "Brooklyn" I sounded!!!

I could have told you!

I was in commercials as a kid, no speaking (Toni, one of a classroom of kids; Hallmark, me putting something under a Christmas tree; mainly I remember sitting in a big chair for makeup), purely by nepotism, my dad the director starting a tv section in an agency, watching money but also giving me opportunity. I was around the 'business' a lot but the only thing that actually enticed me was being a film editor, which I considered off and on as a teen.

Your voice! We have met in person, I liked your voice. My own is uggy monitone to my ears, no wonder I sing so miserably. Probably why I tend to laugh, to add highlights to the monitone.
