What made you smile today?

I'm sitting here looking at a Super Bowl Champion ball cap, knit cap and
t-shirt. Last night, after the Patriots won, I had a celebratory drink and
went to bed. Without telling anyone, my Lovely Bride went to Modell's,
a sporting goods store. She waited in line outside in 19-degrees cold to
get in. Once inside she waited in a another line to buy gear for us, and
in yet another line to pay for it. When I woke up and came downstairs,
it was like being a kid on Christmas morning.

Yessir, that's my baby.

Got a good and long phone call from an old pal - met her in, gah, '61, in embryology class. Still the same, in a good way.

A day off aligned with fourteen inches of snow.

Watched the animated gif for about 5 minutes waiting for the mother cat to ... do something. Nope. Nothing.

I love how she just calmly starts to walk off at the end.

Oh yea.

The umbrella was it. With a can o' whoop-ass that size, she didn't have a thing to worry about, I'd say.

Lunch with a friend. We owned the place, talked forevermore. The server was happy too since we were so glad to finally be there (long story). Business slow, good for us re "owning it" as it can get noisy there with people and music both ramped up, but this was quiet, low music, a talking room; not good for them, but it was mid afternoon, not your workday time of lots of customers on a Tuesday. Place was probably mobbed for the superbowl.

I ordered the world's second best pizza (moving toward first) again, Diane had a boring one - not actually bad but very much needing oomph. We split the problem one and delicious one.

Just found an unopened box of @NestleRaisinets in my work desk! This could be the plot to the next @IndianaJones film! #discoveredtreasures
