I see that, FBM. That could be weird with friends.

With family at a distance, though, we have Skype on every evening, on the iPad, in case anyone has something to say. Often nothing's said, but it's available.

Once the baby is born - expecting our first grandchild - then that's how we'll see lots of the new little fellow from a distance.

When my daughter was in China for a year we used Skype every day.

What was she doing in China for a year, if I might ask? My original intent was to spend just one year here in Korea, but at the end of that year it was clear to me that that wasn't enough. That was 1997...

She was at University. Language students have to spend a year abroad as part of their studies.

That made me laugh, I've seen that face many times over many years. My dad took a picture of me with that face when we lived in Iceland.

Today on facebook a guy whose profile dcclares him a Baptist christian who asks Jesus to lead him in life and a conservative christian who wants prayer back in school and God back in america called me a pickle smoking, anus licking , **** breath liberal. It was WAY beyond making me smile, I thought I was going to choke to death on laughter. Laughing
