I change my mind.

My post for "made you smile-ception" getting down voted by paranoid posters made me smile.

I've never been a good, much less great, dancer, but I did fall in love (as they say) with my later husband while dancing. It was his eyes.. (oh, and his voice and his brains) He never went home again except to get his stuff.

Earlier, by some years, I could get rid of my essential shyness with - of all people, a guy I was not in love with but trusted and wasn't embarrassed around. We used to dance at the Ambassador Hotel, place of some years ago fame in Los Angeles.
I remember my joy dancing to the band's cover of Wilson Pickett's Midnight Hour.

He asked me to marry him three New Year's Eves in a row, my always saying no. Good man, we did talk all that out, each New Year's, but kept movie going and dining and dancing because we were comfortable.

So, I'm smiling about Wilson Pickett.
I 've never understood the logic of dancing, jumping around.
It seems pointless; harmless, but pointless.

@Ragman,
There's not many males who can say that they made me smile first thing in the morning whilst in bed, but you certainly count as one of them now.

To show my happiness re. your good news, I have upstuck you with a thumb.

@Ragman,
Great news, Rags! I'm so happy for you. As a prostate cancer sufferer myself I can really empathize with what you must feel. Congrats.

thank you all for your kind words. Those other kind words came from my 'tell-it-like-it-is' Onco doc who is not prone to 'pumping sunshine' and giving false hope to cancer patients. I have very high percentage of not having a future relapse. The next 2-5 years will tell the tale.

I'm smiling and will celebrate my 64th birthday on Saturday with a bigger smile than my 63rd birthday when the diagnosis process started.

@Ragman,
Well, on Saturday you are allowed to blow out all the candles twice and eat a second slice of cake.

requires ratification of a treaty by 2/3 of the Senate (i.e. 67 of 1OO Senators in favor)
before that treaty can come into effect in America.
THE US SENATE VOTED 53-46 AGAINST
THE OBAMA UN ANTI-GUN TREATY
