I'm on cat sitting/new sod duty for the neighbors for the next 2 weeks.

Norange is all safe in his house with his noms, and the lawn is watered.

We're having a sudden cloudburst right now (rain is always welcome).

In the birdbath in the garden, which is always kept full of water anyway, a dove was plomped down in the middle. It was raising first one wing, then the other to the rain coming down, then doing the shaking in the water thing.

Did that for a long time. The dove looked like it was really relaxing.

@George,
I'm tellin' ya, it's great.

Not just for the computer stuff, but having her here in the same city.

She can start looking at houses when she has 4 weeks worth of paychecks from the new job. She already knows the zip code she wants to live in. In the meantime she's got time to learn her way around, socialize, etc.

One thing though, she's made us realize what old farts we are. Wink She's in her prime, 33.

In a sunny Boston park, there was a blonde couple holding hands.
The guy wore a shirt that exhorted:
"LIVE FREE or DIE" as thay walked by
a guy in a cap bearing a bold NRA logo, who called out:
"GOOD SHIRT!"
That evoked a great big, happy smile
from the guy in that shirt.
