@tsarstepan,

hmmm....

Maybe those 3 characters on the right are experiencing insecurity, stress and anxiety because because they know that horrible monster is about to come up and annihilate them with a bazooka.

@chai2,

It looks that way.

U think the guy on the left
will be less stressed or less anxious after he has completed his ministrations ?

of their earthly lives b4 thay get killed???

( like something from the Odyssey, e.g. a 2 eyed version of the Cyclops ?)

@tsarstepan,
tsar, Can't tell you how much I enjoyed watching this. Reminded of the olden days when I rode the subway. Would I have taken a slice? Only after I saw her eat the cake--just like the man sitting next to her. (He must be a native.)

@vonny,
The grocery store manager smiles at me now every time he sees me, and again today - since we had our little talk about my wondering if they had malt powder or malt syrup anywhere. Er, not malt vinegar (well, they don't have that either, middle New Mexico not being a great fish place). This malt stuff is used in some bread making. He's going to search it out, he's seen me 'quite often in the store'. We'll see about the malt powder, but I can live without it.

The place has improved re interesting goods since I was first there eight years ago . Nevahh competition for Whole Foods and the like, but I like their ways. They still have an excellent selection of new mexican/mexican foods, herbs, spices (I keep learning) and are sharpening up on other matters. The people who work there are like family now, so the atmosphere must be fairly sanguine - seemingly they're ok with each other too, as they've tended to stick around. Nothing false about their manners, as with some grocery stores of my past.

I wouldn't mind taking over the bread department selections..

I wouldn't have taken a slice, regardless of if she ate it. Her little rubber gloves did nothing to put me at ease. Wouldn't matter to me a bit if she ate some of her own product first.
