Took a walk 'round the block. It's dark enough to see inside people homes, if they haven't yet drawn their drapes.
In one house, a man at an island kitchen, sprinkling something into a pan, then tasting the results. At another house, a dad sitting at a table, chin in hand, watching his 2 young sons, about 4 and 5, eating dinner. At a third, a man and woman putting dinner things away in the kitchen. On the way back, the man who had been watching his sons was now alone, eating his food.
Just nice.
