I had a period of time, in my early teens, when I wore sunglasses in any weather and any season - thought they looked 'cool'! Now it is less an affectation and more a necessity on bright and sunny days.
I did also when I had prescription glasses, now I don't so I just put on sunglasses
These lenses let me wear them in darker conditions.

I had an inward smile while thinking up captions for the cartoon-caption thread. I feel that my entry is pretty funny, especially if one lives in the Carolinas and follows politics.
Performed a major data integrity test successfully.....

I was very pleased that the President of the Colorado State Senate,
a Democrat who pushed thru a recent gun control law
has been put up for a re-call election,
with a greater number of signatures
that the margin by which he originally
won election to his Senate seat.
I also smile at the recent vote of the
Legislature of Arkansas to repeal its gun control laws,
so that licensure is no longer legally necessary to carry concealed gunnery.
