@Roberta,
Hi, Roboida.
Figger'd that broad smile would catch someone's eye.
I've been keeping my own eye out for rare critters to post on your animal thread. Onliest ones I've seen so: a merry chap (posing incognito) and a rabbit holding a cigarette. They're both pretty ubiquitous and I 'spect everyone's seen a lot of them.
Does bring a smile and cheers me no end to see so many old chums are still holding the fort.
@Roberta,
Smiling at Debacle, whose name I've always pronounced incorrectly (long have I missed him).

Yep! Me too. Me too. Me too!
A gorgeous sunny morning, we decided to go for a drive.
On a nice stretch of country road, we passed a layby and spied a long line of young Germans with their backs to us, pissing into the bushes.
They were obviously on their way to Wembley to watch their team in the Champions League final, and had been consuming a few beers.
As cars passed, they tooted their horns and all the lads waved an arm in response.
All the women on their coach were grouped behind them, taking photos and cheering.
It made us both laugh for quite a while....
@ehBeth,
Och! Bethie ye'r such a charmin' bonny lass. How've I survived these many lonely days and nights widdout ya? Ye aye warm me heart and blur me blinkin' eyes
A trinket for ever occasion.

And to all the fair and tender lassies hereaboots.
@ossobuco,
No problema, osso. A rose by any other name is no stinkweed.
And how is my favorite veal shank with turnip greens getting along these days? Great to see you!
It's good to see Debacle.
@Debacle,
I'm fine enough, Debacle, and flipping happy to see you again.
@Debacle,
It's the same name, I just pronounce it incorrectly, having learned it while reading. Imagine my surprise to learn as a grownup that your name is DeBACHel.
Big pleasure today to meet an all time favorite a2ker, Free Duck, and her two neato children. With any luck, I'll get in on breakfast before they leave albuturkey tomorrow.
the group photo at the end of yesterday's Dance to Live music workshop (that was also after 12 out of 18 hours of this weekend's belly dance bootcamp)
so much fun though I could fall into a bowl right now
Crab, Long Trail Ale and view of Lake Champlain.
We are stopping over in Burlington on the way home from Montreal.
@Setanta,
Good to see you, Set. Hope you're keepin' in good fightin' thrim.
I don't suppose you go in for belly dancin', do ya?
@ehBeth,
You belly danced for 12 hours? Must have been arduous indeed. You should try it with a hula hoop whats got a nail in it. That'd keep you energized.
BTW, how does one cram for a belly-dancin' exam?

Ooooooooooh! Give Ducky my love!
I love ducks ... made me smile to think of them ... here's Ms Duck and her two ducklings ...
@vonny,
Nothing yet. I've only just got up.
@spendius,
Correction. Reading fm's latest address to the Coffee-House clients.
@Debacle,
Indeedy doody. We danced for 12 of the 18 hours of classes over the 3 day weekend. I've booked today off to recover. My brain is full of information.
Preparing for the class with Dr. Sawa involved a couple of hours of reviewing rhythms and maqams.
