I was supposed to be typing

"Mr. Dhit [an indian surname] is pleased to announce the performnace linked variable pay for the year 2007-2008."

I made several typos and wrote this instead

"Mr. **** is pleased to announce the performnace linked variable lay for they ear 2007-2008."

I actually circulated the email in hesitation. Embarrassed

I made several of my colleagues laugh though

Getting ready for a ........ROAD TRIP!!! I'm going down south tomorrow to visit some relatives. I'll be going to a college football game on Saturday (complete with the requisite tailgaiting!), then the (horse) races on Sunday!!

Looking forward to some fun and relaxation!!! Very Happy

Went to the Model Cafe with Diane. I'm happy just being there...

it's a combo pharmacy and nifty gifty store (lots of soaps and barrettes and cards) and old fashioned but not too corny sandwich and sundae/soda/fruit cobbler place, with friendly owner and delicate mobiles above...

one of these days I'm going to break down and buy some of the chocolates..

I'm having a make-up birthday today. (I had to work on my real one.)

SonofEva will stay at a friend's house tonight while Hubby and I spend the night at a good hotel here in town. (We have a gift certificate for the stay including breakfast for two.)

It's been a looooooooong time since I've checked into a hotel without luggage!
