We made it back to Idaho from Virginia this afternoon. It was indeed great to meet johnboy in Charlottesville. Hope to get back together with the Chicagoland folks again someday, JPB! In the meantime, thanks again to rjb for his hospitality!

The welcome mat is always out for you and T, cowdoc. Glad to see you enjoyed your travels.

Having dinner with mac11!

As we got into the car after saying goodbye to her, sozlet said "What a nice lady." I fully concur.

Jillian on her new big-girl bike with training wheels. Smile

She wakes up in the morning asking about her bike.
In fact, we store it in her closet !

She goes, opens the door, and happily announces that her bike is still there and hugs and/or kisses it. HA!!

Cutie-bean!

H20 - for some reason? For all reasons - it's very funny! Love it.

Today I worked at a new house doing the same drudge work. This couple (richer than god, as my dad says) have a german shepard. He's around 18 months, so still puppyish - but HUGE. He's a total goof. Very strictly trained. Anyway, he was outside with me for most of the day and he came to look over my shoulder while I was digging at a stump to see if I could pull it out. He looked at me digging, looked at my face, looked at the digging. Poor thing. He's not allowed to dig and I am.

So, "J" who is my Goth-yardguy, came over last Sunday and watered the flower beds. He, with his multiple tattoos and piercings, lectured me on how important it was to water the flowers while he was gone for the week that he would be on tour with the band.
I nodded, but knowing that I probably wouldn't get around to actually doing it. Lo and behold, we got some rain on Tuesday and a nice storm today. And the flowers look happy.

Bella Morte is appearing at the Metro in Chicago Sat night before coming home. Catch them and mention me to get some free stuff.

annie , the neighbour's big , brown dog , came over after lunch for a treat and a belly rub .
for lunch we had had rabbit in sourcream-gravy ; so i suggested to mrs h that we take a few dogbiscuits and drench them in gravy .
i thought annie's eyes were going to pop out , she was so happy .
since some gravy had dripped onto my fingers , she VERY carefully used her big tongue to lick every bit of the gravy from my hand - she cleaned my hands so well , almost didn't need to wash them !
and she trotted off happily !

Well, the lady Diane's desk essentially just fell apart into splinters so I went and bought a new one to fit the space we have for a desk. "Some assembly required" said the box. 6 hours later, a bleeding forehead and expletives deleted the desk is together.

dys :
i feel for you !

about a week before ehbeth was born "some years ago" , we ordered a babycrib through a catalog store .
it also required "some assembly" - i just manged to put the crib together before she arrived home in her mother's arms !
poor kid would have had to sleep in a crate , if i hadn't finished it !
hbg

(feel lucky , you weren't in that much of a hurry !)

AAAAARGH! "Some assembly required" -- three words that strike terror
in a parent's heart on Christmas Eve.

So I'm guessing my (fairly) new full timer has a bit too much down time. I arrived to work this morning to find this:

Me so lonely!!
Just me & Dr. Weil shooting the breeze over Matcha green tea! He's a funny man. I've been cracking up laughing all day. His favorite color is orange and he enjoys bird watching in the jungle. He has a pet cockatoo. His name is Larry. He reads him bedtime stories every single night and kisses him and everything.
At Christmas time Dr. Weil often gets mistaken for Santa Claus. Nah, he's Santa's little brother. He leaves mushrooms and Matcha tea at people's houses on Christmas Eve. But only to loyal Origins connoisseurs. "Ho ho ho, Merry Christmas to all and to all a healthy habit." He proclaims as he rides away in the sleigh with his big bro. Then it starts raining honey! Yum! He dumps the honeys off the sleigh down onto the village of Origins and everybody loves it. He becomes a Millionaire.

The End
That is all
Good day to you all
