Yeah!
I jogged today in shorts and t-shirt.
The glare from my pasty white legs must have been blinding.

Another series of pm's from the hamburgers.

Biggest grin?

They used their drugstore "points" to buy the Borat DVD.

I met with my young mom friend and her almost two-year old daughter for supper at a McDonald's Playland. After playing on the climbing tubes and chutes for a while, Little J started dancing around saying "Happy Happy Happy!" Too adorable!

Posting my commitment to a one-year group cooking project over at Taunton. I'm going to be working my way through Weekend Cooking by Ricardo. I'm getting really psyched about this.

Very Happy

Oh yeah, I almost forgot: having (and seizing) the opportunity to do some nice stuff for some nice people who've done some nice stuff for me.

I discovered a thing, called pandora.com, by following a trail of crumbs, which is a "radio" that will play happily on your commputer.

You type in an artist or song, and it finds you stuff by that artist, but also similar stuff, so you get to hear new material (or you do if you are me!).

You can let it know what you like and don't, so that it learns more about what to give you.

And...now that I have cable, I can actually use such things! Heaven.

I am on my Miles Davis station right now......mmmm...and it has played me Davis, Chick Corea, and now Bob Berg, whom I haven't heard of.

Very cool, dlowan.

Meanwhile, what made me smile -- Buckeyes, again! Let's hope the b-ball guys do better than the football guys in this championship... (Two championship games in two sports in one year though, wow.)

YES, I have been listening to pandora for about one year, I LOVE it. I have mine keyed to (1) Townes Van Zandt (2) Stephen Bennett and (3) Josh White Jr
