Same here. I love the way the sun comes into my dining room and earler, I just stood there, admiring it and smiling, I'm sure.

"Picnic" with William Holden and Kim Novak comes on TCM this afternoon. And then, one of my all-time favorite movies "Pocketful of Miracles" follows it. Very Happy

It was a really hectic morning trying to get all the kids together to brush teeth, eat breakfast, and get coats on before 7:30 am. I was running ragged by my 8:00 class, & I had my 6 year old son with me. I got him settled into a chair with some crayons and a coloring book. Then I went to my own desk and started freaking out. I had forgotten my notebook. In my haste this morning I had completely forgotten about it. That's when my I saw my son reaching out to me. He had my notebook in his backpack. He smiled at me and said "Thought you might need this!" I haven't stopped smiling since then.

We moved to Australia from Canada last April, lived in the boons for ages, moved into Brisbane in October and Michael (17.5) was finally able to resume playing baseball. He is playing on a U18 team. Back home he had the reputation of a 'home run hitter'; he either hit a home run or struck out Razz His batting has been decent but yesterday he showed them what he could really do Smile
Hopefully it was the first of many to come!

This morning, I woke up in my father's house (I'm kinda intermittently hiding out), by the sound of my nephew and sister in the playground next door. (Well, almost - I was actually already in the shower - but it sounds better like that.) When I got dressed and went out to greet them, the kid was playing with two Chinese girls, age 5 and, I dunno, 2 or 3 - they were the cutest. They gently let him ride around on the youngest' little tricycle, and he was mesmerized by their toy car (model 4WD). While the kid was running around I ended up helping the younger girl onto the swing and pushing her - kinda shy girl, didnt say much, couldnt say much yet, except on the swing where she kept saying "higher, still higher!". Of course, they both wanted on the swing (but the older one could get on herself), and so they had this rule - you could stop the other, but only after counting down from ten! (Smart parents who taught 'em that ;-)). So over and again, it was ten-nine-eight ...

Thing made me smile is, the first we asked them of course was what their names were. Shuan, the youngest said. Yaen, the oldest declared, adding immediately: Y - A - E - N. Heh.

Also, I dont like dogs, normally. I'm even allergic to them, mostly. But tonight I was at this party and the two men who lived there had this little dog who was absolutely the cutest. All playful and once I scratched him behind the ears he'd all discovered me, toying around standing on his hind legs his front paws up in the air, or on my arm. Kept following me around the rest of the evening, even into the hall (no, you cant come with me when I'm just gonna take a pee!).

It was a cute party, in all, and everything. Good food, friendly folks. No heavy personal stuff, just relaxed.

I thought men liked them better when they're real.

I'd rather a girl with a nice fake rack than a girl with natural A's...but the fake ones that are ridiculously out of proportion are bad. However, I'd probably rather natural C's than fakes...

You can only judge on an individual basis.

A couple of weeks ago our dog, Sally, ate Dys's Stetson. Dys LOVED his Stetson. He told Sally he didn't like her anymore. Sally wagged her tail. Dys stretched out on the sofa to take a nap and Sally, as usual, jumped up to nestle in with him. He adjusted his body to make room for Sally. Yep, rough, tough cowboy...
