Uh oh, I've created a munster.

BTW, anybody out there need help planning a Halloween party or cooking Thanksgiving dinner? I've suddenly got plenty of free time on my hands.

<<<<<my favorite lab rat>>>>>>

I liberated myself and then some. I don't have another job yet, but I have to get out before I drop. I figured the best way to motivate myself to find a new job was to get rid of the old one. It worked with the microwave.

Heh - sounds like sound logic. Perhaps I should have done that too, but I dont have the nerve at the moment - hence being happy, for now, that I get to keep my job (see a few posts up). But I'm really glad to hear that you're venturing out, then, into new territory. Don't forget to take some well-deserved holidays or something first though!

Had fun at work, my business partner and I did four designs for a small back yard, all different solutions, over the last day or so. I love the problem solving part of my work.

Still gorgeous here. In the seventies today, clear blue skies, great light - one of the reasons I love it here is the crystalline light, compared to what I am used to, Los Angeles.

Now there's a truly unusual double post! I think I'll leave it, as with Jo's addition, it's a weather triplicate...

It's weird b/c I've noticed a lot of people doing that lately by accident.

Plus, that was a jo-jo-jo triplicate..

I know that most if not every time I do it, it is because - with my particular darling computer - it is a deathknell to click on the Back button after posting.

Since I push on the back button after many other view opportunities, it is hard to train myself out of doing that, though I try, I try. It doesn't happen every time I do it, but let's say 90%. When I am being good, I go back to New Posts and reacquaint myself with what I was doing before I posted.

I was on the train this morning as part of my daily commute, which was quite empty, when a man entered the carriage. He didn't see me and started doing an impression of a train, whistling and everything. He walked straight through the carriage and never did know I was there! lol

Oh, and sad as it may be, I'm trying to keep a Tamagotchi alive, and it grew up yesterday, so me and my partner might have tamababies tonight...lol

That's worth a smile!

I went to a 7-11 tonight, I bought my beer and when I walked out of the store I noticed an object by the telephones. This objecy was a large (6' x 7')cardboard cutout of a camel( it was detailed; colorful. Probably from a Camel Cigarettes Ad) Upon this cardboard camel were pasted two signs(on notebook paper). 1. "Camel Jokeys Wanted" 2. "Inquire Inside".

The people that run this 7-11 are Sikhs, from India. Hardworking, friendly and generous people. The punks that placed this sign are the epitome of ignorance. I have never encountered this degree of racism i.e. Such an obvious attempt to degrade someone of a different ethnicity. It bothered me, and I was smiling when i destroyed it and threw it in the trash.

It made me smile to deny them their intended effects. Whether they know it or not.
