My niece, who is a little lazy, had her first soccer practice today. She was so excited, she was practicing fancy footwork (heeheehee) and trying to get her shin guards and socks just right (she's 5!). Then we brought her to the field. I went with her mom. Us two grown ups watched as the little ones just overcame all their stiffness and overwhelming lack of soccer knowledge. They were dribbling and making shots at the goal by the end of 45 minutes. And there I was yelling - her team is off-sides! and such. It was very cute and very funny - all of it.

Parents take their playing sports too seriously. They gotta relax and enjoy it like the kids playing it.

Still mooning people from cars, Craven? Are you still making prank calls and sneaking cigarettes, too? Watch out, you could lose your allowance that way. Wink

Ah, youth........

One must never grow out of mooning.

You are only as young as the.. something or other. Has moon in it.

Mooning, timeless because it's good wholesome and harmless fun.

Hi Gautam, Where have you been hiding yourself? Did you know dys, Diane, and I are planning to attend the Europe A2K Gathering in May? Keep in touch to keep yourself in the loop. We're still not sure of the venue and dates. Nice to see you again.

Smiling because I love coming back to this thread and reading some of the former posts.

Craven mooning--big smile. Craven trying to get into Letty's pants--BIG laugh! I'll bet she's too much woman for you Craven. Oh, and I'm waiting to see Gus hugging Craven, the big lug...

Nimh--please tell us how your circus class is coming along. Were you frightened of the tight rope? "Are there any pictures you could post? I knew a woman who took clown lessons from a circus clown. She was wonderful.

My day seemed filled with beautiful hair. There are so many Mexicans and Indians in Albuquerque and all that gorgeous hair! Thick brown braids down the back all the way to their waists or glossy black hair--so black it has a blue sheen to it. Such beauty.

I remember my son playing baseball when he was six years old. He was always put in the outer field where he tended to be looking for toads in the grass. Didn't last long, but had a good time.
As Eva said, "Ah youth."

Nimh, Dys and I are planning to spend a few days in Amsterdam sometime next May. We'd love to meet you. How about we take you out to dinner and let you tell us all the good spots to visit in Amsterdam?

One of the 4 year olds at school coming up to me and saying 'Guess what? I know what archaeology is!'

Bet she wouldn't be able to spell it though.
