Never having tried to make a form in Word before, making one -- not liking the regular textboxes at all, making them with ActiveX controls instead -- and in the end even finally figuring out how to make it possible to use enter and create paragraph breaks inside those. (Toggle "multiline" and "enterkeybehaviour" to "true" in the properties of the textbox).

Hey - just the little victories of office life ...

I've been smiling ALL day helping my Godson, his mother and his father move him into his dorm room at Morehouse College, noting the license plates from all over the country, chatting with many of the proud, newly penniless parents, eating lunch in the cafeteria, watching the young ladies from Spelman sitting on the grass taking inventory of the hot new stuff coming in. It's been a blast.

Oh so you all ended up going with him after all? We need updates!

Good luck to your Godson.

I had to smile today when I received a note from the moderators threatening my eviction.

A slight smile formed and I thought, "Why you dirty sons of b-"

But then I thought it over and realized the moderators were probably right. I had misbehaved and justly deserved their appropriate action.

So, I continued to smile. And grit my teeth.

There was a group of us that got out of control yesterday. We said some pretty nasty things and were throwing things at anyone who happened to cross our paths.

I was probably responsible for the chaos.

I won't name the other participants because Bipolarbear, Cav, Kickycan, and Slappy Doo Hoo are my friends and I'd hate to get them into trouble.

I'm sorry I missed your birthday, by the way, Swimpy.

Maybe next year I'll drop by with a gift.

Thanks, and happy birthday to you too! And ehm, would it be offensive when I ask you how old you are now?

I keep on rushing in & out of threads, didnt even look around me.

Happy birthday, Swimpy. Must have been several times I wished you one, by now. ;-)

Happy birthday to Rick too!

Rae showed up! Heya, Rae! Hope you're well!

Sofia, your posts were moving ... that must be tough. Even good partings can be sad, hey ... an empty house, hard to get used to. Take care - go spoil yourself, for one! Something really nice for yourself sometimes makes a place seem a little less empty ...

Happy birthday Swimpy!

I spent about oh half an hour yesterday trying to post a picture of a big glorious bouquet. First I had to find one -- the pics that came up in Google searches of "flowers" and "bouquet" were both eh, so I went to the Calyx and Corolla site, a-ha!, but I have a new mac and it doesn't right click and I don't know how to get at the #@*&! properties (still don't, control + click right clicks but it won't bring up properties) and I did this and that and then something came up (I forget what) and I hadda go.

So.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

[big glorious bouquet]
