Yeah, she's so little and cute. But I'm not allowed to play with her. Or feed her pixie stix.
I haven't really read over this thread. DO you think it would do the trick?
Pixie stix make her sneeze a scary amount.
no wonder she's sick. Poor baby.
fine-ground xugar with citric acid in a paper tube.
Daddy likes 'em, I figured baby'd like 'em.
sounds remarkably healthy??
I met an odd man on the bus today. He had a cast on his arm with writing sprawled accross it. Upon closer inspection I noticed that - mixed among the obligatory 'get well soons' - someone had written, 'you suck, but it's okay, because your special.' Then I looked up and noticed he had a bar-code tatooed on his forehead. A bar-code. On his forehead. So naturally, I smiled.
However, my bliss was interupted shortly thereafter when bus disaster struck. I was taking the bus home, and at one of our stops, this guy in a wheelchair was being lowered down to the ground off the bus, and he rolls forward and falls over. He's laying there on the ground, wheelchair akimbo, and I just stare, horrified. The driver freaks out and leaps off to help the guy up. Everything was okay, but in a way it was a metaphor for life. I don't know in what way, but homie - life
This incident inspired a concept for a short story. It will be about an aging black man in the mid 90s, who had hit his head during the Montgomery bus boycott thirty years before and then wandered the country unable to get on buses for some reason. I don't know what the point is yet, but the ending will be transcendent.

IronLion smiled today! Good for you.
Got to leave work at noon, then shop, then home to the kitties.
Did some work out on the porch, which included opening the storage shed to look for a pot with soil ... that was at 8 pm ... then around 11:00 pm, Rae asked when was the last time I was on the porch..... this was 3 hrs. later ........ she heard the sounds .......... Lacey had been closed in the closet since 8:00 pm ......
I felt so bad, you cannot believe ... she was starving and thirsty and so undernourished........
Forgive me Lacey?
I know how that goes, ILZ. A guy here was having trouble with his wheelchair, so I stopped to help him. You should have heard him squeel with delight when I finally got him rolling down the exit ramp at the bank.
My two girls took me to lunch for my birthday.
They see each other about once or twice a year and have never been close.
Seeing them hug each other and chat made me smile.
It was the best birthday present they could give me.
It's your BIRTHDAY, jjorge? Well, WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY SO!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
(pumpkin orange, just for you!)
