<warm smiles at the name 'Auntie Raerae'>
nimh ~ how is your little nephew doing?
What made me smile today:
Walking in the sunshine along the river, looking around, and thinking, "Hmmm, would that muskrat be interesting enough to write about on 'What made you smile today?' He's cute, but I'm not smiling. Hmmm, maybe..."
There was nothing in particular, but these first few really warm days of the year are just blissful all around.
he's fine, rae ... i went down there to see how he's growing a coupla times now and it really does seem that, just in three weeks, he's already become so much bigger - or am i imagining it?
he seems a curious chap, looking around and just looking around with not so much of a peep in boundless wonder - or who knows, perhaps sheer intimidation ;-) - at the colours and shapes around him.
Seeing some miniature daffodils blooming in my yard!
joking and kind words from A2K friends
( (((you guys))) are becoming pretty important to me!)
jjorge, you manly-man you!!!
. . .oh right . . .manly . . .errr. . .
I also got in a brawl at the tavern today, cracked a few heads together. . .
then got my twenty-seventh tatoo and spent the afternoon with two of my fifteen women . . .
see ya later. . .gotta go now, I need a couple of cases of beer for tonight.
I can't drink too much . . .got a doctors appointment tomorrow . . .I have to get my monthly shot.
(to cool down my raging sex drive)
So, those daffodils are looking good, eh?
Rae
They're kinda scrawny compared to the bigger ones that will bloom later, but they DO look good.
Timing is everything. . . .we've had a lon-n-n-n-n-n-n-ng Winter!
Smiling again (jeez ~ I've reached my quota today!), remembering when my son was about nine months old and he helped me plant bulbs in our 'garden' ~ the daffodils were the only ones that did well!
Chatting with my nephew on the phone.....Yeah, ok, so I said "hi little man" and he pushed the phone away as he drooled. (I seem to have that effect on men.)
Taking a nap....watching a couple of movies.....maybe I'll do something productive with the rest of my day off.
Sounds productive enough to me!
Sounds like a spectacular day, Terry!
I was home by 2:15 this afternoon, caught a few rays out by the pool, dashed down to Rusty's for a nice steak and a beer and have been relaxing at home with my lovable Lacey ever since.....
(And since this is day two since she was doused with 'Advantage', she's a very happy flea-free kittycat!)
I've got to do laundry...no way around it, but perhaps I can put to use the skills I've learned from watching Harry Potter for the fortieth time......
<waves wand and recites "wingardium leviosa"....the keyboard begins to levitate, but nothing else happens>
Oh well, I guess I'll have to do it the traditional way.....
Go over to the Procastination thread and cast a spell! Then maybe you can get out of it.
I thought they were ALL for procrastinating!
