Okay, it didn't take me very long to find it. Keep in mind that this poem is old, and I consider myself a better writer now, and I haven't written poetry in a while since I'm not too fond of it anymore. Annnyyyywaaayyy.....
I can just barely see the two discolored spots on my ceiling
And I can just barely see colors swirling through the sky
The solar energy hitting the Van Allen belts
The solar winds shaping the magnetosphere
And I can see myself sitting in a clearing in the woods
Next to a frozen lake that's been that way for months
Where it snows everyday but it's no big deal anymore
And for some reason the cold doesn't seem to bother me
Sitting there and waiting for it to be midnight
But the time is irrelevant since it's been dark for days
And then at midnight
It happens
For two hours
I don't move
And they say you can smell and feel the electricity in the air
While it's flowing through me I think about everything I have missed
Everything I have missed while trying
To expand over everything
But sitting underneath that night sky thousands of miles away
All of the radio interference is natural
And trapped and reflected in the stratosphere
I want you to lie there and stare up at this scene with me
But I guess I don't have to explain
Because I know you understand.
