Well, it's been almost a full month since Gus has been around..now that it looks like Gus may really be on the verge of leaving us for good, I think I have to tell something to all of you. It's something that he used to tell me, and it's something that I think might be the only thing that could possibly get him to come back.
You see, littlek, it's like this. Whenever me and gus'd hang out and drink on his porch, he'd always, without fail, sooner or later, get around to telling me how much he would love to see you and me get it on. He once told me that if he was ever on his deathbed, he knew in his bones that the one thing that would revive him as good as new would be to learn that you and me had "done it freaky, like the wild capybaras do", to quote the man himself.
Now, you can take that however you want, but I think you see how desperate this situation is, and I think you know what must be done, littlek.

I'm just glad that I have moved to a more residential area. Up to this is was all scrub behind me - there were strange howls, moans and cries in the night..... no, that was me. But it could have been the old coot.......
