@georgeob1,
I said "Isn't it sad that this right to work idea has been around for such a long time yet most people still do not understand it?

Quote:
I believe most people understand it very well.

Are you being honest? Do you think that the average person even talks about this issue?

Thank you for sharing your subjective view. Did you notice that I was asking another question as well? My other question is "Did you know that "right to work" are code words according to Marten Luther King?

We have a very sick society and many people in many countries around the world are talking about it and sharing their subjective views, "Have you been engaging in these discussions? What is your view about this video about prisoners?

@reasoning logic,
I am being honest. Contests over right to work legislation have been going on in many states ever since the Taft Hartley Act, fobidding closed shops, was signed in the 1950s. We are often surprised and disappointed about the level of knowledger 0f puiblic events , but I believe that those who have some knowledge these laws and the issues that attend them do indeed know what they do,

As to the code words stuff, I'm not interested in that and therefore didn't comment on it. Do you object to that?

You are being honest in saying most people understand?

Are you unaware that you and I both are retarded compared to others on this subject?

I do not object to that and I do not find it odd that you and many republican preachers such as Herman Cain and so forth Quote Martin Luther King when they find it convenient but exclude anything that goes against their ideology.

I do not blame you, I was the same way most of my life as well. I was unable to understand people who I thought were weird or different than I.

@reasoning logic,
It looks like the new democrat party will continue to be traitorous to our country, Ellison is a good indicator of their chosen path.

@Frugal1,
I believe "traitorous" is far overstated. However it does seem that Democrats have not yet begun the introspection that usually follows a serious political setback. I expect the denial will continue for a while, but that a serious reassessment of leadsership, strategy and platform will eventually follow.

Hillary Clinton's top money dropper, Haim Saban, is smearing Keith Ellison as an anti-Semite. Appears that the new Democrat party will look like the racist wing of the old Republican Party...

@Lash,
You mean the racist / KKK wing of the old democrat party.

And yes, Ellison is a terrible person as well as an anti-Semite.

@Lash,
It does surprise me that Democrats so far appear to be doubling down on things that have already injured their prospects. There's a lot of division and denial in the Party now. Indeed it was already visible in the unexpected (by them) rise of a Socialist, Bernie Sanders in the recent primary. I interpret that was a reaction to disatisfaction with Hillary's obvious venality, lock on the power elite of the party and apparent lack of any new ideas. Now they appear to be without both electable leaders and a coherent response to the many new political Afacts that emerged in the election. I suspect the forthcoming unfolding of the Trump/Republican legislative plan might spur them into constructive action.

@Frugal1,
Sure there will members of the new democrat party that will probably continue ordering pizza but don't you think the same holds true for the RNC?

What is your view about how the news media could not care less about possible election fraud?

@reasoning logic,
He is probably talking of Ellison's past ties to the Islamic State and his support of controversial figures to express their viewpoints on the middle east situation. It is being dragged into the news again.

@revelette1,
Past ties?

Why do liberals dislike it so much when the truth is 'dragged into the news'?

@reasoning logic,
I don't know where you are getting it that the news is ignoring the recount, every time I open my news I see something about it. The latest is she can go forward in the recount in Michigan and she filed one in PA.

@layman,
I've actually read some of pieces in question with Ellison and from what he can tell, he wasn't promoting antisemitism but rather promoting number one, free speech and number two blacks having a right to have alternative viewpoints and number three, the right of Palestinians which does not mean antisemitism despite people saying it is. He was involved in the Islamic State but he disavowed it publicly because of it's more extremist violence views so to speak as time went on. As far as I know, Sessions has not disavowed his past statements and views.
