Question:

Does anyone really believe that Donald Trump gives two flying fucks what the media the left or anyone else for that matter thinks about his pick for his cabinet and his staff? The man is President elect and he has a right to pick anyone he wants. If people or the media don't like it that's just tough ****. In the end regardless of who he picks these people serve at the pleasure of the president and either do as they're told or they're out. So I don't really see what all the hubbub is about. Especially before any pics have been made and especially after only eight days after he was elected. Much to do about nothing a tempest in a teapot.

Donald Trump does care because he's an egomaniac with the disposition of a spoiled rotten child. He has an itchy trigger finger and lashes out at criticism and then, when his handlers explain the damage he is causing, Trump walks back his tantrum.

Donald Trump said he would never settle the Trump University fraud cases, but he did. His upcoming fraud trial would have been a huge embarrassment to him and he couldn't risk an adverse judgment. So he settled admitting no wrongdoing, which shows that he does care about his image.

He can pick whoever he wants to help him run his presidency, and who he picks will be a reflection on him. And he does care about the backlash and the embarrassment that some of his picks have already caused.

When Donald learns to control his twitter finger and stops lashing out at all of his critics and threatening reprisals .... then maybe you can come back here and declare that he doesn't care what anyone thinks.

Oh dear. The booing was so stressful for Donald Trump as an avowed opponent of the First Amendment that he could not stop his twitter finger .... apparently very few people in this country other than Donald are allowed to use their voices.

Let's just take what happened last night when Pence attended a performance of Hamilton and was booed by the audience as he arrived and during relevant points of the performance. After, the cast stood as a letter from them - a polite letter expressing policy concerns re immigrants and gay people - was read by a cast member. And then Trump tweeted...
Quote:
Donald J. Trump ✔ @realDonaldTrump
Our wonderful future V.P. Mike Pence was harassed last night at the theater by the cast of Hamilton, cameras blazing.This should not happen!
5:48 AM - 19 Nov 2016

Donald J. Trump ✔ @realDonaldTrump
The Theater must always be a safe and special place.The cast of Hamilton was very rude last night to a very good man, Mike Pence. Apologize!
5:56 AM - 19 Nov 2016

Trump probably doesn't care what the press thinks about him (whether they like him or not) but he cares acutely if the press is sufficiently intimidated or frightened by him such that their speech acts will not work any damage on his urgent need to dominate others. He needs adulation and subservience because of his particular pathologies.

How little you understand Donald Trump or his tactics. He is a genius at manipulating the popular press and social media... He is three and four steps ahead of most.

@Debra Law,
This just goes to show and is another illustration of the duplicitous nature of liberals. If this had happened to Obama the cast would have been immediately labeled as racist and intolerant.

The growing movement against political correctness that swept Donald Trump into office with the stunning defeat for the Liberals will also cause a drop in attendance of this play. People are not going to pay all that money to watch a cast that gives political lectures.

@giujohn,
Those of us who heard the real Donald Trump heard a racial bigot, a misogynist, and scammer of many people. I'm not sure which universe you live in, but the United States of America continues to work towards equality for all.

Thank you so much for joining us tonight. You know, we had a guest in the audience this evening. And Vice President-elect Pence, I see you're walking out but I hope you will hear us just a few more moments. There's nothing to boo here ladies and gentlemen. There's nothing to boo here, we're all here sharing a story of love.

We have a message for you, sir. We hope that you will hear us out. And I encourage everybody to pull out your phones and tweet and post because this message needs to be spread far and wide, OK?

Vice President-elect Pence, we welcome you and we truly thank you for joining us here at Hamilton: An American Musical, we really do. We, sir, we are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us — our planet, our children, our parents — or defend us and uphold our inalienable rights, sir. But we truly hope that this show has inspired you to uphold our American values and to work on behalf of all of us. All of us.

Again, we truly thank you for sharing this show. This wonderful American story told by a diverse group of men [and] women of different colors, creeds, and orientations.

The same amount that they have already - not at all. This is a straw man argument. All Trump has said is that the media, as presently constituted, sucks. He has never made the slightest suggestion that their right to report be legally curtailed. You are assigning intentions to Trump not supported by anything he has ever said or done and then condemning him for them.

Give one example of a racist comment by Mr. Trump. If there are millions and millions, it should be trivially easy to produce one.

Donald Trump's tactics: lying and bullying

Lying and bullying does not equate to being a genius at manipulation. It's just lying and bullying.

That's not all Trump said, read this:

http://www.politico.com/blogs/on-media/2016/02/donald-trump-libel-laws-219866

And later perhaps you can google his scurrilous comments about the Washington Post and Amazon .... and Trump threatening to use the official office of the presidency to destroy his perceived enemies ....

Anyway, your head appears to be stuck in a hole in the ground. Stand up and pay attention, please. There is much to condemn him for the things he has said and done.

You can always tell an agenda-driven establishment lackey when you see one.

Ignore.

Would you believe that I was one of the thousands protesting on the streets Lash, or that I've already got a flight/hotel to protest in DC during the inauguration?

Who said he's wrong? The Electoral College and likely Trumps presidency is horrible for the country. He was spot on in 2012.
