Mike Pence would not defend Donald Chump during debate.
Here's video proof of multiple lies told by Mike Pence during the debate.

@revelette2,
Tax law must have changed since I was in school. It used to be you could carry losses back three years and forward two years. After that - all gone. That would have been 5 years, not 18.

Pence Couldn't Refute Any of Tim Kaine's Attacks on Trump
During Tuesday's vice-presidential debate, Mike Pence failed to defend Donald Trump's agenda.

October 5, 2016

A VP nominee's main role is to help the party's nominee get elected. True, Mike Pence held steady during the sole 2016 vice-presidential debate, leading mainsteam commentators to declare him the winner.

“What Trump needs desperately is someone to assure the nervous middle that there will be a grownup in the Oval Office next to the tantrum-throwing toddler," said Andrew Sullivan, blogger for New York magazine. "It was very effective, I’d say, on that count, especially with Republican voters who were looking for reassurance.”

But Pence failed "bigly," as Donald Trump would say, with regards to defending his running mate. While a revved-up Kaine piled on criticism of Trump talk, reiterating the GOP nominee's infamous statements, Pence dodged and denied the facts, instead, making up his own platform.

"Donald Trump has, in this campaign, expressed admiration for Vladimir Putin. He's essentially endorsed a wish list of pro-Putin policies. He's suggested we should withdraw from NATO, which would put our Eastern European allies at risk—and then tonight we heard a completely different message from Mike Pence," Brian Fallon, the Clinton campaign's national press secretary, told Fox News' Megyn Kelly shortly after the debate ended.

"He was talking about how Putin was a bully and he was small. I mean, at the next debate I hope that Donald Trump will be asked if he agrees with Mike Pence then," Fallon continued. "I think that showed that Mike Pence had his own agenda tonight, and to me it almost seemed like he was auditioning for 2020 more than he cared about electing Donald Trump in 2016."

But what about viewers with less of a stake in the performance?

“Pence is giving the country a very good preview of how the Republican Party is going to move beyond Trump," tweeted Alec MacGillis, politics reporter for ProPublica. "Just pretend he never happened.”

There are going to be many more firsts for Trump. I can feel it in my old bones.

I think a lot depends on Hillary really beating him severely. If it's a squeaker, there will be too much room for interpretation about what the election meant.

@snood,
I want Trump to keep talking on media. That will cook his goose for sure. His ignorance will continue to be exposed.

@cicerone imposter,
Well, if certain folks keep on digging, I am sure, there will be found plenty of Trump's past conversations if he does suddenly stop talking.

Trump recorded having extremely lewd conversation about women in 2005

Quote:
In that audio, Trump discusses a failed attempt to seduce a woman, whose full name is not given in the video.

“I moved on her and I failed. I’ll admit it,” Trump is heard saying. It was unclear when the events he was describing took place. The tape was recorded several months after he married his third wife, Melania.

“Whoa,” another voice said.

“I did try and f--- her. She was married,” Trump says.

Trump continues: “And I moved on her very heavily. In fact, I took her out furniture shopping. She wanted to get some furniture. I said, ‘I’ll show you where they have some nice furniture.’”

“I moved on her like a bitch, but I couldn’t get there. And she was married,” Trump says.

“Then all of a sudden I see her, she’s now got the big phony tits and everything. She’s totally changed her look.”

At that point in the audio, Trump and Bush appear to notice Arianne Zucker, the actress who is waiting to escort them into the soap opera set.

“Your girl’s hot as s---, in the purple,” says Bush, who’s now a co-host of NBC’s “Today” show.

“Whoa!” Trump says. “Whoa!”

“I’ve gotta use some tic tacs, just in case I start kissing her,” Trump says.“You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful -- I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait.”

And when you’re a star they let you do it,” Trump says. “You can do anything.”

“Whatever you want,” says another voice, apparently Bush’s.

“Grab them by the p---y,” Trump says. “You can do anything.”

A spokeswoman for NBC Universal, which produces and distributes “Access Hollywood,” declined comment.

@revelette2,
That was on tv today. I presume that will have some impact on parents whether their child is a daughter or son (or both).

So tomorrow, Paul Ryan and Trump will step zestily out onto the stage in Wisconsin to the upbeat Tom Jones' classic, "What's New Pussycat".

Later on in the festivities, Ralph Reed and Mitch McConnell will introduce the themes, "This is a change election" and "We need a new kind of strong leader" with a screening of "Caligula".

It's how modern conservatism rolls.

"Disgusting", "lewd", "unacceptable" but none of these GOP top dudes are dropping their endorsement of Trump. Just imagine what Pence's face must look like this fine evening. Imagine the enthusiasm in Wisconsin tomorrow. Imagine how many reporters' questions are not going to be answered tomorrow.

And finally, imagine how few of these people are going to face up to what has happened to the GOP and how they are themselves totally responsible for that.

@blatham,
I almost feel sorry for the female Trump surrogates who will still be expected to go out there and defend him. Almost.

@snood,
There is a core of Trump supporters that just won't give up. That core may be getting smaller, but I don't think it will go away.
