I read not a few comments that he might have chugged a whole bottle of Dayquil, whatever that is.

Frequent coke or speed snorters will know how he felt that day.

@hingehead,
I dunno Hinge.

I keep some paracetamol in the first aid kit for emergencies.

I don't mind admitting to self-administering some midstrength lagers from time to time, but all this drug stuff is foreign to my routines.

@hingehead,
It used to be that kids got addicted to cigarettes.

I can't complain, because I sold them by the stick at high school.

These days, doctors prescribe speed for preschoolers. It's all gone to ****, for mine.

The Don did look high as a kite, but it's hard to tell with these NPD dicks.

If that is the case, why did Obama spend so much time during the 2012 election cycle taking credit for withdrawing troops from Iraq? That was until the media started asking questions about ISIS, then Obama couldn't get far enough away from the troop withdrawal.

Boy, if Obama were running for President, that might actually mean something.

right... because they will be all over Hillary's lies. It seems, by the media's account, that the man can't tell the truth.

Your problem, here, is that the lying was completely asymmetrical.

Trump blatantly lied about things that could be easily checked. Kinda playing to the media's strengths, there....

And, FYI, I've seen where Clinton's statements were fact checked, so you can go look that up. Or maybe even go do some research yourself, if you feel that the existing fact checking isn't good enough. I note that rather than pointing out actual falsehoods, most of what the righties are doing is Trumpeting about unfairness; you'd think that if Clinton actually lied, the Trump campaign would be champing at the bit to point it out....

Instead, Trump complains about "fairness" and his "faulty microphone." Super Presidential, that.

Hillary Clinton wisely point out that Donald paying zero in taxes means he paid zero for the troops, zero for veterans, and zero for schools.

This was an opening for Trump to expose Clinton as an inexperienced fraud with no business sense.

Trump took advantage of the laws that SHE helped draft just like any other business. I do not recall Warren Buffett writing a separate check to the IRS to cover the so called "underpayment" of taxes. Trump, as a real estate investor did gain from the housing crash, just like every other person who bought a foreclosed home during that time.

See you "lefties" have no sense of business nor how the system works which, just like any other form of ignorance, might be correctable.

@woiyo,
No, we see that he's very advantaged because of his wealth. He can afford tax lawyers, but I certainly can't. And we can see that his proposed plans would increase the advantages of being wealthy, and game the system even more in his favor.

Track this: he paid zero in Federal taxes. Sure, that's to his benefit, but it's to everyone else's detriment. It makes him a parasite.

Actually he did, he said it was smart, didn't go over too well with undeciders.

Undecided voters gasped when Trump bragged about not paying taxes

I would hope every other person who bought a foreclosed home didn't actually hope for such a housing crises in advance so people would loose their homes so he could gain them like Trump admitted he did.

How do you picture that in your head? Him sitting at his 1040 and putting a zero in the federal tax line then giggling like a school girl? I imagine that's what you imagine.

Every business owner pays federal taxes. Every tax payer pays federal taxes. No one escapes the tax man. It would only be the most ignorant among us that believes otherwise.

@DrewDad,
On the one hand, I hope he don't bounce back despite showing all the millions of viewers how unprepared he is to be President. On a lesser hand, I feel sorry for the GOP (and Trump) except they brought it on themselves nominating this guy as their choice for President.

Doesn't that make him one of Romney's hated 47%?

Everyone who pays taxes pays taxes! Nice police work there, Lou.

Now, not that I believe facts will actually penetrate your fanaticism, but:

Does Donald Trump pay taxes? Here’s what we know

Quote:
Even before Monday’s debate, it was known that Trump had not paid any income taxes in certain years, based on paperwork he filed with New Jersey casino regulators and other instances in which his taxes appeared in a public record.

Is he escaping the tax man, now? Dunno, but he's clearly managed to do so in the past.

(Yeah, yeah, Federal income taxes aren't the only taxes in our lives. I'm aware. Try moving the goalposts if you must.)

Maybe that is why it is taking so long for the IRS to get through auditing his taxes. We won't know if he paid his fair share or any of his taxes unless we see them.

He gets audited every year! Clearly a sign that he's persecuted; not a sign at all that he gets flagged by fraud detection....

@DrewDad,
Your ignorance is not unusual. The system that politicians like Clinton created, is why people like Trump pay no additional personal income taxes.

Consider the taxes he DID pay such as Corporate taxes, Real estate Taxes, unemployment tax, FICA, State and Local taxes. Consider the taxes his THOUSANDS of employees paid.

So for the simple minded, your argument may resonate. For those who actually think, your argument has no basis in reality. So just like Hillary, who never started a business of her own, you find this a difficult concept to grasp.

Too bad Trump is not quick enough to counter this position.
