@Kolyo,
Analysts have already said that Trumpcare will take away health insurance from 23 million Americans. If Obamacare is a failure, I want Obamacare over Trumpcare.

More than 23 million people could lose coverage. And the superrich will get a $197,000 tax cut.

@cicerone imposter,
Yeah, Obamacare is better than Trumpcare.

But that's not the choice right now.

We're either going to get Trumpcare, or we're going get to "FreedomCaucusCare".
Believe me, you don't want to see what "FreedomCaucusCare" looks like.

@Kolyo,
the way the opposition is lining up, therls a good chance this version of trumpcare will be dead in the water, and that means that freedomcaucus care will be dead in the water too, becau.se it's not going to get anybody outside the FC, which means they're going to have to start over again and this time actually putsome thought into what they propose and get some actual figures on what it will cost and what it will cover, instead of just pie-in-the-skying it like they just did

@Kolyo,
I don't worry about those things that I have no control over. What the government does is one of those. I'm an Independent; a minority in this country.

The Senate republicans are not in agreement with House republicans regarding the details of repealing and replacing Obamacare. "Trumpcare" and "FreedomCaucusCare" are not in agreement. If the republicans are unable to come together, doesn't that mean that Obamacare would remain as law by default? If the republicans are unable or unwilling to come together, they will not have the vote numbers to repeal and replace Obamacare. That is a good thing. Although Obamacare has flaws and isn't perfect, it's still better than Trumpcare or FreedomCaucusCare.

@Real Music,
Yea. Repeal and replace is more difficult than they expected, because there are already laws on the books under Obamacare.

Here's the deal: Whether Obamacare or a GOP replacement, there isn't going to be 0 number of Americans without healthcare insurance.

Libs should stop being so sanctimonious about Obamacare taking care of this issue, because it clearly did not.

It's 100% national health care or it is not.

If you want the former, then stop the crap about worrying about whether or not you look too Socialist or not and advance your idea.

Even as the libs saw the problem, the Dems with Obamacare didn't come close to solving the "problem"

Now they're going to go off on the GOP for not doing something the Dems couldn't?

Declare Socialists, and stop being chicken-**** politicians.

@MontereyJack,
The sad part is middle and upper middle class liberals really aren't going to be affected much. How the poor in these rural communities get so caught up in right wing propaganda to vote against their own best interest I'll never understand. It's like perfect storm of willful ignorance and few media outlets. They really only have themselves to blame. They were conned by a con man. What did Dubyah used to say? Fool me once.

How many were on food stamps when Obama was President?

@Miller,
I don't think food stamps is an important issue. Many churches supplement hungry people. Everybody needs to eat. It's good that the governments at all levels address hunger.

Of course it isn't important to you, you know Obama increased the # of people on food stamps and those # haven't really dropped.

@Baldimo,
I support the food stamp program. When we were kids, we were supported by government welfare, so I know how important it is.
We lived in the poor section of Sacramento, and we were given graham cracker and milk in elementary school.

@Miller,
Probably the same number. The election was in November, so anybody on food-stamps in November were on food stamps while Obama was President because we only have one president at a time.

I assume you thought you were making a point. Did it have something to do with your obsession over people getting assistance?
