'Tis a sore disappointment and a dynamic difficulty at present - we happen to have but three men on our team at present - and two of them are social duds - 'tis awful, cos they cannot comprehend much of the conversations and the humour - so they feel excluded - and we try to not do it so they don't - but they often come in for lunch, for instance, late, and we are in full flight - (I don't mean girly stuff - I mean stuff like we do here, on these threads) - and it is hard to pull back - and they think it is cos they ar emen - and neither we not all the other men who have worked where I work before, and who ar edear friends now, can really say that it is not gender, but other things - and the non-dud man is having a hard time - he has asked to be an honorary woman!!!

LOL! Sorry to moan in an inappropriate place - (we need a moaning forum!) - but we are such a close team, and we need to be to do the work, and it feels like a gaping hole when people are all growly and suppurating.
It must be a nightmare to feel left out.
Happened to me once, in a place I worked in for 6 months.
Well, those mins sure seem to feel that women are evil!
Is there a NICE way to tell people that it is not their gender but their lack of brains that make the difference? Just kidding.....
I shall return to work refreshed and talk about computers determinedly with the aggrieved mins. I shall ask for help and advice. That always works. I shall not follow it, for submariner is known for his abilities to crash computers - even from afar!
