Saying Israel's - a state's - attacks on Palestinians are 'disproportionate' - which is a statement matter of opinion - is not equivalent to spreading the blood libel about the Jews - a people - which is an assertion of [false] fact, unless you are severely lacking in logical thinking skills in several ways, or else just argument-trolling.

Whether or not Israel has conducted disproportionate attacks (they have not) is a factual matter.

We better get those Jews. They're committing war crimes now. is plenty close enough to Blood Libel for me.

Just because the nature of the false accusation is a bit different doesn't change the fact that Jews are being falsely accused of a horrendous crime.

Sanders is being called a "political Nazi" , in part, because his socialist views , according the author, are very similar to those socialist view held by Nazis.

There are few right wing lies quite so annoying as "the Nazis were Leftists/Socialists/Communists" lie. The basis of the conflation of nazism and socialism is the term "National Socialism," a self description of the Nazis. "National Socialism" includes the word "socialism", but it is just a word. Hitler and the Nazis outlawed socialism, and executed socialists and communists en masse, even before they started rounding up Jews. In 1933, the Dachau concentration camp held socialists and leftists exclusively. The Nazis arrested more than 11,000 Germans for "illegal socialist activity" in 1936.

Hitler himself made it clear in Mein Kampf:

Why are you guys arguing this.

Miller and Oralloy are making an argument that is so obscene and so absurd that it doesn't deserve this much argument. There is no logical basis for this claim... they have completely left the realm of logic or taste.

Pacifism is Nazism. Freedom is Slavery. White is Black. Good is Evil.

Their argument is so completely nuts, it can't be reasoned with. It can only be mocked and then ignored.

If you all just drop it, this sick joke of an argument will go away.

Happily Walter here in the U S as in Germany just one politician whether president or legislator cannot put people in prison all by themselves. But with the congress we have now it might not be impossible.

The right finds it just as exasperating when people on the left say that the Nazis were right-wingers.

I count Fascism as a mixture of the dumbest ideas from both the right and the left, and count Nazism as Fascism mixed with genocide.

Dumbest in my opinion at least. But anyway, a mix of certain ideas from both ends of the political spectrum.

Things should heat up again around 2020. Oralloy's "can of Italians" contained twenty people, only three of whom were Italian: eight Germans, five Belgians, three Italians, two Poles, one Austrian and one Dutch. Too stupid even to check Wikipedia., you might think, but that's where my 'argument troll' hypothesis begins to seem appropriate. He does it on purpose. He never gave a damn about Knoxie, and doesn't give a damn about Bernie Sanders, or Nazis, either . He just gets a boner from pissing people off. Don't feed him.

Italy was committing an unforgivable atrocity and outrage against them was entirely appropriate.

I used to like staring at the pictures of those dead cable car people. All that bright red blood all over the snow helped to soothe my anger.
