Rising fascism in the US

1. I wonder how the people of Ukraine would feel about this ridiculous statement.

2. I wonder how Finland and Sweden would feel about this ridiculous statement.

I wonder if Ukrainians would prefer Russia's wartime ethics or those of Israel / US / UK.

I suspect that the Ukrainians would prefer that Vladimir Putin had not invaded Ukraine, period, end of conversation.

The US has so much waste and graft, a third grader could work it out.
Slash the war machine--and it's done.
But let's don't stop there.
Slash the spy agencies.
Disband the CIA and FBI.
A smaller version of DHS can focus only on border issues.
Reduce IRS significantly--a flat 5% tax rate will mean we don't need that many 'agents'.

Billions saved.
UHC and better funded schools. Improve infrastructure. Keep promises to vets and elderly and disabled.

It's all there and it's easy--they just refuse because they don't give a damn for the citizens--at least in the US. Maybe it's not quite as bad in the UK as it is here, but you seem to be following our path.

Corporations can be owned by citizen cooperatives. No CEO making millions. The citizens delineate salaries and perks based on their earnings.

Government can be effectively reduced to enhance the lives of the people doing the living and dying in the country / municipal area.

I don't know what's to fight about that.

Why has Russian recent aggression cause both Finland and Sweden to seek membership to NATO?

1. This is exactly what the enemies of the United States desire, especially Russia.

2. The enemies of the United State, especially Russia, would like to see American's national security and national defense greatly weakened.

The US shouldn't have dropped a military base of his doorstep.

Did Russia agress toward Finland or Sweden? or was it framed that way to scare people and make Russia seem like a bogieman?

OK, just fire the ones spying domestically.

1. In order for the federal government to function, sufficient funding is necessary.

2. Also, I would argue that the burden to sufficiently fund the government not be unfairly placed on the middle class, the working class, the poor, or everyday people.

3. I would argue that a greater burden be placed on the super wealthy and super rich to sufficiently fund the government.

4. I would also add that the IRS be sufficiently funded to have sufficient number of agents and technology to collect revenue from wealthy tax cheats.

This doesn't require money; it requires the will to do it--or saying no to those sweet bribes. More money for more agents is just a huge waste of my money.

The working poor and what's left of the middle class are the only ones taxed and always will be unless something drastic is done by them to the ruling class.

1. Finland and Sweden both voluntarily seeked out membership to NATO.

2. If you want to question Finland and Sweden's motivation for seeking membership to NATO, go ahead.

As I noted the other day, she always gives herself away.

2. The super wealthy have teams of high price lawyers and the complexity of the super wealthy is very complex to say the least.

3. In order to match the resources of these teams of high price lawyers would require the IRS agents to spend more hours and resources than they actually possess.

4. These teams of high price lawyers probably are very aware that the IRS has an insufficient number of agents and staff to go after the super wealthy cheaters.

5. So, the more billions, that go uncollected from these super wealthy tax cheats, would create shortfalls in government funding that would have otherwise been collected.
