Hello, killinggrace!

Here's how I would translate them:

This love is forever.
Hic amor sempiternus est.

True love is pain.
Amor verus dolor est.

There are two ways. I learned my Latin in Catholic schools way back
when. I was taught what some refer to as "Ecclesiastic" pronunciation.
So I would say NOshay tay IPsum. Many Latin scholars believe that the
Romans pronounced it differently and would have said NOSkay te IPsum

Ok, thank you! Very Happy

English to Latin Translation
Hello everyone,

How would one translate "Run like Bishops! Fight like Kings!" ... ?

I am creating a mathematical game involving pieces that move like chess bishops and take like chess kings, called Legionnaires. (If anyone's interested, there is an online version here ... http://flame.cs.dal.ca/~boardman/leg.html )

The best I have come up with on my own is "Cursite juxta Episcopus! Pugnite juxta Rex!" ... I'm sure this has many mistakes as I have (unfortunately) never studied Latin. Thanks very much for any suggestions!

Matt

Consercration -- consecratio
Courage -- fortitudo
Commitment -- fidelitas (literally, faithfulness. That's the closest I could come.)
