Re: Translation Help, Please

"For God and Liberty"
I've come across several translations, each with very subtle differences: "A Deo a Libertate", "POR Deo a Libertate", "Por DEUS a Libertate", "Por Deus ET Libertate", etc..
This is for a tattoo, so I am especially concerned about getting it right.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Pro Deo et libertate
"Por" looks mor Spanish than latin... did you try online translators? I think those tools are wonderful for quickness and availability, but completely unreliable for declinations...
Re: Translation Help, Please
Thanks, Raphillon.
And, yeah, you're right, I meant "Pro" not "Por".
I did try one online phrase translator, but it didn't translate all of it, it came back like half English half Latin. It was like "A Deo a Liberty" or something.
Other than that, I found a bunch that would translate words (and even then some did not agree, as in "Deo" or "Deus"), but none that would tell me how to put the words together.
Thanks again.

Hey, I'd be really grateful if someone could translate the famous James Dean quote "Dream as if you'll live forever. Live as if you'll die today." for me...

2. Pray for peace, prepare for war.
Thank you
Via, veritas, lux
Pro pace ora, bellum para
after reading all these entries you all seem amazing.....could you offer me some help. i found the phrase in sepulchre seplucura in a book that I was reading for a literature class, I can't remember what book or the exact spelling of the phrase, but it was roughly translated to forever all of the automatic translators give me nothing even close. Thanks for your time.
Perhaps you mean "in saecula saeculorum".
That literally means "into the ages of ages" and is a way of saying "forever".
Could use a little help

[I used the more commonly seen singular here. The plural would be:
"Fines media iustificant"]
