I must have. You certainly didn't say it here. Instead, you suggested that Sanders is acting "snotty" because he hasn't already announced his support for Clinton.

I said it /url]here

I don't post in that thread. I can't be expected to follow you everywhere.

But since your position is that Sanders should drop out and support Clinton only after Clinton has clinched the nomination, would you still maintain that Sanders is being "snotty" in not endorsing her now?

Not in so many words

I figured as much.

@bobsal u1553115,
Forgive me for asking but was the person who abused Gaffadi an american citizen or one of the citizens of his country?

@joefromchicago,
You mean the way she shafted Obama rather than ask her people to back him and demand the party let her write their platform? He is a conservative socialist who wants Trump to be the one.

Did you not read the article? If you did, you would realize the words may be different, the meaning was exactly the same.

Telling the voters it is all over with on the eve of the California primary is a calculated strategy to influence Sanders supporters to give up and not vote in the primary.

@edgarblythe,
Not on Hillary's part. The news networks counted the pledged, (elected), delegates then called up the superdelegates to find out which one they are voting for.

Persons, you mean? His street murder was filmed by Americans. How were they permitted to be there? The staff at the American consulate suffered just as badly, remember?

Gee, ya think? I can't imagine a campaign working to deliberately get people to vote for them, and not for their opponent. Goodness sakes alive, bring me my fainting couch!

Of course, any journalist who can count already had it all tallied up prior to today, but I'm certain Clinton's staffers were perfectly willing to provide tote sheets for anyone who is math challenged. And I'm sure Sanders' campaign wanted to provide a different narrative. Kinda telling that they couldn't.

@edgarblythe,
The polls in California will still be open when NJ will probably already know who won that State. At that time, Clinton will most likely reach the required numbers. Will it be wrong to say then that Clinton reached the required delegates to be the democrat nominee?

Not sure if you will actually respond to me. I have been spiteful to you in this election primary and I am bit ashamed of myself for it. I hope now that it is almost over, some healing happens for the left.

@RABEL222,
The one thing Sander is definitely not is a conservative and he does not want Trump to win. He is just bitter and probably really believes he has been cheated and treated unfairly even though he hasn't been.

I can't imagine that Edgar will ever concede a fair victory to Hillary, no matter what the circumstances.

Like Clinton in 2008, Sanders has pledged to go into the convention and wage a fight. I didn't put a lot of stock in what Clinton said in the heat of the campaign in 2008, and I don't put a lot of stock in what Sanders is saying now.

But that doesn't answer my question: do you think Sanders is being "snotty" for not endorsing Clinton now?

@joefromchicago,
Yes I do because he keeps saying Clinton is only winning by stealth, favoritism and outright cheating. This gives fuel for the republicans to use against Clinton plus makes it harder for Bernie supporters to ever support her if they think she only got it by cheating. He talks about the independents not being allowed to vote in closed primaries when that was the same rule in 2008 when Obama beat Clinton. He just has a snotty attitude when he talks of the DNC and Hillary in general. If you do not agree, I am fine with that and agree to disagree. It seems we here on this forum used to be able to do that without deriding the other person's opinion to the extent we do now.

Clinton did not threaten to contest the convention. Once it was clear Obama was going to have the delegates, she laid off her more aggressive attacks after the May primaries.
