@Lash,
Hillary has suggested a solution for cost of paying back student loans, some of them have been forgiven under Obama, is to negotiate with banks like you do for other loans. It really makes sense to me, of course I understand it wouldn't for you. If Bernie has suggested it, advocated it, done it, or talked about, it is the right thing for you. Even to the point of approving of child pornography on computers, because as you said on the Bernie thread, child nudity is natural. Never mind the perverts you and Bernie are exposing those poor exploited children to.

You wouldn't stand by her crazy statement. Instead of popping in to snipe with nothing but ad homs, why don't you make a substantive argument?

Because you know her statement is unsupportable, but you can't help but attack me personally? Yeah. True to form.

Alrighty then - asked and answered all by yourself. Well, they say there's no harm in talking to yourself unless you get in an argument.

Life would have been infinitely easier for activists in the 60s if they just ate in places that allowed them, followed the rules of the day. But people had had enough. They were unwilling to put up with bullshit one moment longer.

Enough!

People were beaten and killed because they refused to submit the status quo. They KNEW their refusal to get in line and do what was expected would make things much worse before they got better, but the change had to come. They accepted the risk, and changed their reality. 0

Lesson learned.

You're quite the crusader... not voting for someone.

@DrewDad,
Not to mention not voting is the same as voting for Trump. The last time people voted for a third party candidate, Bush was president and we had the Iraq war and needless people died and we are still paying for the consequences even today. Imagine the disasters of a Trump presidency who seems to say and do things on impulse of the moment, who thinks North Korea having nuclear weapons is a good thing.

And Trump, I suspect, it has always been.

Her supposed "conversion" to progressivism gets more and more exposed all the time. Instead of attacking the Democrats' strongest candidate from the right, she now attacks her from the left. And we're not supposed to be able to see that.

I'm surprised you make a big deal about me supporting the innocence of children running bare backed through a sprinkler on a hot summer day after you supported child pornography, Revelette.

You lie again, never would I support child pornography in any form, much less support someone who voted against trying to stop it like you do.

Voted NO on establishing nationwide AMBER alert system for missing kids.

Vote to adopt the conference report on the bill that would assign a national coordinator for AMBER alerts. AMBER alerts is an alert system for missing children, make available additional protections for children and set stricter punishments for sex offenders. Two-time child sex offenders would be subjected to mandatory life sentence. The measure would make it a crime to pander visual illustrations of children as child pornography. It would increase maximum sentences for a number of specified crimes against children. It would also make it a crime to take a trip to foreign countries and engage in illicit sexual conduct with a minor. It also would enlarge law enforcement's wiretap and electronic surveillance abilities in investigations of child pornography.

@Lash,
You were the one who went on about the naturalness of child nudity when the subject of Bernie's no vote on the Amber alter and stricter laws on computer generated pornography came up, not I. You invited it. Learn to own up to what you say.

@revelette2,
When I trust someone's judgment, I suspend judging them until I get a chance to seek out information about why they did what they reputedly did. Either I believe them or I don't..

Bernie isn't perfect, but he hasn't let me down yet.

If you are actually interested in why he made some of these votes, you can read here.

@Lash,
I read your link. His excuses of voting no on both the Amber alert and the Brady Bill was just that flimsy excuses which does not pass the smell test. One he objected on grounds of sentencing, what, too harsh? The other Brady bill was on the grounds of the federal mandate of the thirty day waiting period. As I said, flimsy. Thankfully, the Amber alert passed without him helping millions of children every year.

The Amber alert helps to track down those who the computer to look at child pornography, it also criminalizes those who go other states and makes stricter laws for those who watch child pornography. He voted against it, you supported his vote against by saying child nudity is natural.
