Good morning.
So how's the ol' backy-wack today, Ms Bunny?
Pain was pretty bad last night....done my exercises and taken my pain killers and doing better.
I have figured a compromise.
Luckily, I had not a lot of folk booked in for some reason...except Monday.
So...today, I am doing a tele-conference (cast of thousands, in a very sticky case) from home at 11.00. (Telephone, not video!)
Then physio at 2.00...then going in for a case at 3.30...but only going in to the building we see clients in, (which cuts out stairs and most of the walking) not going to the building my office is in. My emails can go to hell.
If physio says I am still supposed to rest the damn thing (and I think she will...my leg is still numb and very sore, and she wants the pain just near the disk where it belongs before she's happy for me to do a lot), then I will go in tomorrow just for a new family, and again only go to one building.
Friday......I have 2 sisters coming down from way out bush, and I had them scheduled for an hour each, plus a decent amount of time to educate and support their carers...and a kid straught after that.
So...I'll do them, and then go home.
I need to fit a doctor's visit and a cat scan in somewhere as well.
It's driving me crazy....but I have checked with not just my physio, but other sources as well, and this isn't an abnormal time for an injury of this type to take to improve.
Interestingly, I'd just read a Medscape weekly update on optimum treatment for backs, and knew to keep mobilizing....I just over-mobilised on Monday...but I have kept myself from stiffening up.
Time to do more exercises!
