Oh, Phoenix, I didn't get it that your symptoms were so tough.
Dare I ask about blood pressure? I've had that after taking blood pressure pills (don't get me going).

Osso- Until this little siege, I was not having very serious symptoms............just huffing and puffing after walking a few miles, and getting much more tired afterwards, with a racing pulse.

I have been taking the same bp meds for years. Actually, it is pretty much under control. What pisses me off is that my sugar was good, BEFORE I discovered that they carried Blue Bunny Ice Cream near my house. Shocked

@Phoenix32890,
Aha, but still, that may be an ameliorative instead of a cause..

You know the route, ask the doc, but I understand your exploring.

I am going for my heart valve replacement in 2 weeks.

Came home yesterday, and living on anti-dizziness meds. Am feeling better. Maybe I will venture outside for a bit tomorrow.

Gotta disagree, Phoenix. Anxiety prior to heart surgery ain't neurotic. You're just stressed out, methinks. Glad you're feeling a bit better.

Deb, I'm glad you're feeling a bit better too. Wish you'd listen to the doc and take Monday off. Why push your luck?

@Thomas,
Thomas- I am not dizzy, but still feel a bit weak. I had promised Mr. P. that I would just hang around the house this weekend, and that is probably a good thing.

@msolga,
I'm a gonna push.

Gonna see how my first appointment goes today (an especially distraught family's first appointment).

If I can't bear it after that, I can cancel the rest without too much drama.

@dlowan,
Good thinking, Bunny Person. Testing the waters & all ....

I just hope you didn't plough on, through the whole day, feeling like crap, that's all. (Something I have done. More than once, I confess. To do with guilt about "inconveniencing" others by being sick. Sigh.)

@dlowan,
You don't want me doing your housework, believe me! My standards at present are pretty crap!

Friend came round to pick me up to go out somewhere. Decided he wanted a cuppa. Did I want one too? Found him in the kitchen doing the dishes - to find a clean cup! Embarrassed Dunno why he didn't look in the dishwasher! Then I couldn't find the sugar - he just waved his hand in the direction of the general mess and said - Guess it's in here somewhere!

Bit embarrassing!

@dlowan,
Aw crap.

What's next in terms of medical attention? Do you just need to rest, which I know is extremely difficult for you 'cause of work?

This sounds so miserable for you. Sure hope things improve soon.

@sozobe,
Rest and exercises.

I'm supposed to go have a cat scan.

Wish Miranda would get with THAT program.

I hate doctors and medical stuff, so I am putting it off.

@dlowan,
And you did a full day's work today (Tuesday), too?

So you're relieved to have knocked off some of the work backlog (I can understand that! Smile ), but still experiencing quite a deal of pain, Deb?

@msolga,
No way!!! Yesterday stuffed me up good and proper.

Off work today......going in for 1 client at 3.30 tomorrow and straight home. I have a teleconference at 11.00 tomorrow, too....but I can do that lying down at home.

Thursday? Who knows. Haven't dared look at my diary!!!!

I think the physio is gonna say take the whole week when I see her tomorrow.

Sigh.

Thank goodness for that, Deb! I had this awful feeling you were going to stoically plough on, regardless!

Yep, take it day by day, & if the physio says take more time off, then do take it!
